This is the version I'm waiting to go on PO, the details and proportions are just better compared to its 1/6 counterpart, IMO.

As for the prices of 1/4 articulated figures -- Enterbay's Batman, Joker, and BD T800 were all under $400 (BD T800 costs more on their website now though, as it sold well I guess), between 2012-2013. HT's TDKR Batman sa $465, Terminator Endoskeleton $400 both POd in 2012. 1/4 HT Boba Fett up for PO late 2014 is $470. Play Imaginative's 1/4 War Machine 2.0 was a whopping $600+, diecast and 2 heads (one with Cheadle likeness).

If this won't have any die-cast parts (I think it's not necessary), we can be looking for maybe $500-550.

I think this one looks great as well. I already ordered the 1/6 scale myself. But for me, I can't have to many iron man armors. I know not everyone feels that way, but I really enjoy the character. If the price is in that range you mentioned then I'll probably order him. I am a little afraid he will be, or at least I was, in the 600 dollar range. Which I'm not as sure if I'd order. But given the past prices you mentioned your estimate is probably a lot closer then mine. Thankfully/hopefully lol

If it's in the Boba Fett 1:4 scale figure price range then I'll probably buy it, the price is the deciding factor really.

Yeah, we all do wish that this would still be affordable for the majority. Man, I'm still in awe at how gorgeous the proto looks. Perfect paint job, terrific proportion. Instant purchase if the price is right for my budget.

(No DIE-CAST logo anywhere on that catalog page, right? I don't mind if HT keeps it all-plastic! IMO die-cast would only make it heavy and that's not necessarily an improvement)

Much like every other 1/4 version vs the 1/6 (TDK, EB BD T-800, EB Robocop, etc) this puts the 1/6 version to total shame. Not that the 1/6 is bad looking, but man, this completely craps all over it in a BAD way.

Beautiful is an understatement. This will be mine.

$450.00 is what I'd prefer, well anything much higher & they can keep it..., it's only plastic after all.

I just chalk it up to statistics... odds are its more likely that there will be a US winner than a UK or Irish one

Yeah, it's been said before. I remember reading a few people talking about it, I'm quite happy living in the UK though..., don't fancy moving just to improve my odds of a win. lol
