Man, I can't believe how some people try to defend the prices. I don't care if they buy as it's their money, but to try to justify Ultron's prices because "he's big" and "he's got LED lights" is absurd. I'd never get tired of repeating "1/4 HT Endoskeleton" ad nauseum just to make a point. It's not because Ultron's BIG (Endo is 18"), or the LEDs (Endo has it too), or it's a unique and newly-tooled sculpt (Endo is, too. And is far more complicated engineering-wise, with metal parts). Heck, I don't think that even the box can be outdone by Ultron's. Disney's probably expensive, yes, but HT's really busting everyone's butts because they know collectors will buy anyway.

Yeah, that also bugs me a bit. If you have to justify your purchase, you are doing it wrong.

At this point, I know that if Batman Returns ever gets released, it WON'T be cheap. Will I get it anyway? I'm leaning towards a hell yeah but there won't be a point on justifying the raping.

That Endoskeleton knockoff looks like a ripoff to me, but then again, I'd never buy it.

Yeah, the more BR gets delayed the more chances of its price getting higher than how much it could have been if released earlier.

Anyway, I'll most likely just make extra funds for 1/4 Mark 43. The proto tells us enough -- this will be an awesome figure. This is one figure I won't miss on PO. So far the 2 QS figures HT's released have not really gone down in price, Endo in particular is getting more expensive. Plus this is Iron Man, so might be cheapest to get it on PO. Might have HT's best RDJ sculpt too, just as QS001 has the best Bale sculpt.

Legend Master Lighthouse cases for 1/4 is also on sale at a local dealer ($80), so I'll pick one up this weekend and have it on standby for this beauty.

Budget Stark said on his facebook page that he has it on very good authority that Hawkeye will be next up for preorder..., I'm curious to see if it's right as that is on my want list (not much else is).

This is the IM figure from AoU that I'm waiting on. I hope the price won't be too exorbitant. I'm expecting it to be higher compared to their other QS offerings, but should not be that pricier.

Everyone who POed the SSC statue should hold off for this cuz it's gonna destroy the statue quality wise.

A few pages back we tried to approximate how much this would cost by taking note of the past HT 1/4 releases' prices, which is about $470. Then add to that the more comparable item which is Play Imaginative's 1/4 WM 2.0 with 2 heads (one with Cheadle likeness) and contains a huge amount of die-cast, for $600+.

Now this is HT, this is Iron Man, we can assume that this will have another headsculpt (and presumably the best so RDJ sculpt to date). Whether there'd be die-cast or not, HT can easily value this @ $550 or above.
