I have the Deadpool 2 release already, and even though I'm not seeing a huge difference between the two (and likely therefore can save money by skipping).. it's Deadpool. So I probably should? get this either way.

This would be my first Deadpool figure and I'm still undecided if I actually want it being as I've very little interest in the upcoming film. I have enough crap on preorder, idk.

Simple enough, no unmasked head will be a pass and really limit their sales.

I wouldn't use the unmasked sculpt.
But it's still nice to have and something the previous releases did not.

He has a completely different suit, so it wouldn’t make sense.

Also the special edition base looks suspiciously like one of HT's recycled, rocky terrain bases that they just emblazoned with the Deadpool logo.

Nooo, they’d never do that. It’s specially designed, it says so!!

The black pleather on my Deadpool 1 I peeled off last year as it was already coming off, and the red sections are not doing so great. So many years of extreme poses lol. I passed on DP2 as at the time my DP1 was not falling apart yet. Can't wait to have a pristine Deadpool figure!

Hope they release it soon I'm guessing after the movie but maybe before. I guess we'll find out soon enough.

Well damn, I really wanted a Wade head sculpt with moving eyes. Kind of sucks that they didn't go that route.

I would have 100% displayed him with it.

No unmasked head = no order from me.
There just isn't enough reason to get this without another head sculpt if you already have the other Deadpool figure.
Looks good though for those without a Deadpool in their collection looking for one.

I really don't understand; there's the excluve guns and base, but there's also another 'mystery 1/6' item, which first 500 HK pre-orders get first dibs on, but isn't exclusive ?, but we dunno what that is? When they say 'exclusive priority to secure this 1/6 mystery item', it sounds like something else that you buy seperately. I don't spose they'd go the route of selling headsculpt(s) seperately..? Or could it be a whole other variant figure? Weird, and annoying; maybe they can't/don't want to spoil something from the movie, or maybe it's something not ready yet..

But yeh count me in the group who won't consider it without a Wade headsculpt

Those two boxes could definitely be a Wade head sculpt and a fabric mask for him to hold. We’ll see. Normally they have like a blurred out head teased though sometimes it’s just a blank box, I feel like the most recent Black Panther figure was an example where they didn’t even show a blurred head.

If any of the convention exclusive mystery accessories are from the spoiler tag above then that wouldn’t bother me one bit, personally. I sold my DP2 figure a while ago so plan to get this one regardless. Looks like they’ve finally switched the black sections of the suit away from pleather material.

I don’t recall them ever hiding a sculpt behind a “mystery” portion of their figure. It’s usually something hidden until after the movie releases since it’s spoiler related. If there was a sculpt, even if not approved, it’s usually still advertised in the announcement photos as such.

Unfornately just looks to be a release without a Wade sculpt. Bummer but the overall figure does look to be the best Deadpool they’ve done.
