January 2015? Man that is a fast turnaround. What justifies this as being $20 more than a trooper? haha

Definitely. Maybe they were waiting for the upcoming hype from the teaser trailer to announce their Star Wars line? Although they did announce it almost a month or two ago. But yeah, it seems like they're all ready to come out next year before the film's release.

What's most interesting is that this, a non OT figure, will come out first and be their first Star Wars figure since announcing the full license.

Its certainly an interesting choice of figure to put out first.. especially with the apparently long delay before shipping the standard Stormtrooper.. I suppose it could be testing the waters for production run numbers?

but, its still cheaper than SS's red five luke. Didn't SS tell us SW is more expensive now? HT doesn't seem to think so. I think it's $20 more then the white Stormtroopers because its exclusive.

Looks cool, but a pretty easy pass. If I bought this I would have to buy every ht star wars release and that is shaping up to be a big number. Essential characters only for me, now where is that anakin that has been rumored since DX Luke. That announcement will irritate the $#@% out of some people for sure.

I'll be very pleased with that announcement as I'll have no desire to buy it... unless it was end of Revenge of the Sith Anakin. I miiiight be tempted by that.

I did expect this to be more expensive than $220 seeing as it's an exclusive, however I'm not purchasing anything that isn't from the films. That's just too deep a hole to get into considering there are enough movie characters I will want to aquire.

I was looking forward to that too... probably never happen now since all HT seems focused on is OT characters. Would be nice to see a variety from across the saga.

Agree. For me that is instant buy. Episode 3 anakin would preferably come with 2 sculpts, Jedi and turning sith. But I'm sure ht knows this and ala bat signal/gordon they will release padawan anakin and child anakin before finally releasing ep3 anakin in 2 variants with the aforementioned head sculpts.
