I wonder if anyone has or will attempt to repaint this to the Mark 43 colors as its the same suit best I can tell, I'm sure hot toys will when the time comes:lecture

Probably not, they'd basically be trolling themselves painting all the gold parts red and red parts gold. What a huge pain the ass.
 
Blu tack does the trick to hold up this headsculpt. It looks quite good in person, everyone should give it a try :)

Love my blu-tac. My modded V figure is practically held together with the stuff.

That paint job looks so much more Iron Man than the predominantly gold. I'd be sorely tempted to buy that.
 
I liked the 42's design but not the color scheme. This one will be a must for me. Can't wait.
 
Is that official recolor? I like it except from the waist down, not sure about so much red on the thigh and the gold bits on the shoes. Looks like Iron man put on a track suit and is going for a morning run.

EDIT - did a quick modification to see what it looks like with more traditional ironman scheme:

the 30 of august arrive the figure and come in with a little piece of the boot missing. Come new in the unoppend box and in the box there aren´t…

The 1 of this month i send a mail and ask if they can refound me the piece...and they tell me "Would you please provide the sales receipt & the photo support for our checking?" i send it...

but they don´t answer me with nothing at now...

it´s normal this deal by the customer service?

I guess i'm not the only one. Usually Sideshow's Customer Service is top notch. Lately they have been really digging themselves a hole to loose customers. I had an issue with another figure I messaged for a replacement. They said they would ship me one out in 10 days. Nothing. I emailed them again and still nothing on the subject. Keep trying to get in contact. It sucks that this is happening. I have a small issue with my 42 but I don't know if it's worth messaging them about it.

They are probably dealing wit all of the ED-209 complaints. Hell, they probably hired an entire crew for that.
 
Got mine yesterday and all seems well. Arms pop out easy with a little pressure but I can live with that and had one shoulder armor piece floating in the box but no damage there.

Two quick questions. Where exactly should I be looking for issues on the shoulder? Know it was supposed to be a running change but want to make sure.

And has anyone gotten the ground pose to work? Tried but can't seem to finagle it to get it done right

Im worried now, did you get an email actually saying the part had shipped out? I got an email regarding the mk42 but it just says the part "has been booked" guess that means it hasnt shipped out :(

You are looking for the single washer 'fix' (middle arrow).. tbh, I would be surprised if anyone receives the original, double washer version from Sideshow -






.. and no deformed molding on teh body (for either arm) -



The 'slam landing' pose seems to be very difficult to achieve with the Mk42.. peeps appear to have had most success with WM2 and IP, for that particular pose.
 
This is the email I got, it's been hassle free, just waiting till friday for an update.

It doesn't say they will ship one in ten days my friend. It says they have none in stock. And they are waiting to get more. It says they expected it to arrive in to then in 5-7 business days. Given the recent holiday and two weekends that could take nearly 14 calendar days. Then they have to send out orders, process any that came in before your request. Contact you. Then ship. With taking business days into account and process time and the fact they may not get it on schedule (hot toys not ship to them on time, shipping gets held at customs ect) it would not be unreasonable for it to take a month.
