That's why I'm also iffy on getting the HoA. There are a lot of more IM3 suits to come out and those aren't going to be in the HoA. Will be weird to have 7 suits in them and 3-5 of them out on display.

Just going to cancel my PO. Save myself $700 and use it on other figures to come.

I think that is a wise move. I don't see Hot Toys shifting much stock on the HOA sets at $700 each. They will be warehouse dwellers for Sideshow and Hot Toys imo. Plus as you pointed out there will be more suits then what the HOA sets can accommodate anyway.

Yup. If I have nothing else to buy and $700 to spare, I'll pick it up then but for now I'll just stick to getting figures.

Talked with AlterEgo and asked if they can switch my order from the set of 7 to set of 4 and they did it with no problem. They even transfered the $45 NRD I paid for the Set of 7 over to the Set of 4.

+1 to their customer service. I'm just going to pick up the Set of 4 and call it a day. Figured I'll have a shelf with the Tony Stark IM3 and this behind him as it's own set up.

It's good to hear you got it worked out. Alter Ego does a good job of taking care of their customers. I like that set up in that pic a lot. I might have to think about going that route myself.

best way to buy a figure in my opinion, not having to worry about the price when it comes...just go and collect...

Very interesting..I have a chance to PO this for $255 if I pay full upfront..

Though, I still don't know if having that amount of cash trapped on this
thing for a year is a good thing...

Yeahp retailer.

I'm running on a budget so I'm afraid that something might come up later on
(i.e. next month) that I'll want more than this, but I won't be able to order having
already placed a large amount of cash on this.

If only we already know how much the MkVII promo would be..

After the other 13 or so IM suits are able to be teased by HT upon the movie release, I think we'll start seeing Thor 2 figures right after May.

Nope, looks like HT is ditching the whole plastic MMS line for our good old Iron Man. Hasn't been stated by Hot Toys but when have they ever given us fans some communication? It doesn't really make sense for them to make a plastic one.

1) Mark VII goes for $250 and the Diecast goes for $310. Only a $60 difference
2) People are EATING away at this line. Us members on the forums who don't want it make hardly even 1% of their customers. This is selling out like crazy as it is

Makes no sense for them to make a plastic version at around $270/$280 when people are eating away at this new "Diecast" line. Not to mention it's only 40% Diecast. It's still 60% plastic.

Your best bet is too just buy this. Although that doesn't mean they won't make a version 2.0 with a pepper sculpt.
