Thats right, unless things have changed between releases. The faceplates are magnetic

It's shown in the trailers but better safe than sorry

During the house attack it's still a "Clean" suit when he calls it from pepper to himself, he's bleeding because he wasn't in the suit at the beginning of the attack.
