Compared to an IM figure, he is more like a statue than an action figure, just a body, no intricate moving parts and reveals, so despite Hulk being a new, unique body, I don't look at him and see a figure demonstrating as much effort and skill to achieve as Iron Man or even the likes of Loki or Thor, and while a different line, Jack Sparrow has a very intricate and detailed costume an cost less. Not belittling the quality of the sculpt work on Hulk, the team did a great job but other than his size, nothing about Hulk stands out amongst the other Avengers figures to justify his cost difference. Sure he's bigger, but he's molded and doesn't require the time and ability of seeing costume pieces or assembling small working flaps and lights and other mechanical features.
Um, because hes a Larger figure? And a newly tooled body? And Im not seeing how hes a statue....
