Um, because hes a Larger figure? And a newly tooled body? And Im not seeing how hes a statue....

Compared to an IM figure, he is more like a statue than an action figure, just a body, no intricate moving parts and reveals, so despite Hulk being a new, unique body, I don't look at him and see a figure demonstrating as much effort and skill to achieve as Iron Man or even the likes of Loki or Thor, and while a different line, Jack Sparrow has a very intricate and detailed costume an cost less. Not belittling the quality of the sculpt work on Hulk, the team did a great job but other than his size, nothing about Hulk stands out amongst the other Avengers figures to justify his cost difference. Sure he's bigger, but he's molded and doesn't require the time and ability of seeing costume pieces or assembling small working flaps and lights and other mechanical features.

Clearly, you don't like Hulk. And clearly some of us do like Hulk. And isn't great that you just simply don't have to buy him.

To the people who are saying they'll wait for a Hulk from Avengers 2 i would just like to say that the design of the Hulk will likely change so that new toys/merchandise can be made as he's the only one who can just have an update to his suit. So if this is the design it may be your only chance. I hope i'm wrong tho, i dont want any of the designs to change, i'm fine with suit changes but Hulk's look has been set now imo, they shouldn't change it again until this series of films is over.

After looking over the pics i noticed that the waist joint has more movement than i thought, so with some clever posing i can have a gorilla Hulk pose. Just make him squat lower with more bend at the knee's and hips and then lean the torso forward and arms at his sides. That's what i'm thinking anyway, will have to wait and see if it's possible

Sorry you cant justify the $300 price tag. I can. End of story. Agree to disagree on this I guess...

BUT thisll be the cheapest HT Hulk out there. Because you know for a FACT that future releases with more bells and whistles will just smash that $250 wet dream price even further.

There may not even be a Hulk in the Avengers 2. Yes he was popular but they might want to remove Hulk from the roster to replace him with someone like Ms. Marvel, Black Panther or whoever else they may want to introduce. Nothing is a certainty so I'd jump on this whilst its relatively cheap.

So now we aren't able to discuss this figure on a forum? Why do people behave like this when someone has a different opinion or wants to discuss a different subject. Discussing this doesn't necessarily mean you don't want the figure. I am going to buy it but it is overpriced. Not that money is a problem for me.

So, the Hulk figure in the AniCom diorama, with the whole team, is slightly larger than what the final production figure will be?

No I really doubt they have reduced his size at all. That unofficial size comparison is a total photoshop. The Ani-Com diorama is the only true comparison. There is no reference to scale in any of the official pictures, not even a basic stand to judge by.

If we estimate that there may be 3 Avengers films, and Hulk is in all 3, it wouldn't shock me if they went straight to the Grey Hulk for Avengers 2. Which of course could make this the only green Hulk.

It is guessing but I wouldnt be surprised if we do see a Grey and Red Hulk SOME TIME in the future films.

That doesn't mean anything, that's just to lock the actor in.

Vinnie Jones has a 3 picture deal with Fox.... we won't be seeing Juggernaut anytime soon.

Like I say it's all up in the air right now, who knows if Hulk will be in Avengers 2. Especially if he has his own TV show they may want to keep him out of it.

And speaking from experience, usually the ones that are finding stuff wrong with a release are those that are trying to justify to themselves when they cant afford something....

Not saying anyone in particular is doing that in this tread, but it can be a reason.

But those that arent happy with the price have a right to be unhappy, and theres no convincing them otherwise, same can be said for those that are happy and are getting shouldnt be getting **** for being able to afford and being happy with it. Telling people they "need help" for paying $300 for a collectible is uncalled for imo.

But really those that are not happy with the price, are you still buying it? If so then your complaint is useless. Youre just showing HT that youll pay it regardless and you are being a hypocrite.

And if you arent getting it, then whats the point of being in this thread? Just to come in and whine about a price you have no control over whatsoever? I dont usually go into threads that I have no intention of buying the product. I find it to be a waste of time. Theres enough threads here about products I am buying to keep me more than busy.

MaulFan made a pretty darn good argument about the price on IM compared to Hulk. What was your response? "Don't like it don't buy it problem fixed". Come on...

My response was that I disagree with his OPINION. Thats what he offered, HIS OPINION. If you agree with HIS OPINION, thats fine. I was stating that I don't agree with HIS OPINION. I like Hulk along with many others. Thats all we are all offering here right? OPINIONS?
