Haven't seen the film yet, but man, this figure is ugly. Might be 100% accurate, don't know. I love Vision from the comic books, and I thought he would be the only A2 figure I was gonna get, but man, no way.

I don't like the figure as-is. Hope they tweak him since he was one of my favorite characters in the film.

I hope they'll tweak the portrait a little. I don't know if people have been whining on HT Facebook page about it, but if enough people do maybe HT will revisit it.

Other than that, I think the suit & cape looks great. Regardless, insta-buy and he'll look stellar on display.

I don't agree that this figure is ugly, but I will say that I can understand why it wouldn't float everyone's boat. I've said it before, but there is a lot of time between now and release date. Alot can happen.

It's 'off' in a few areas so much so that I would doubt that Marvel would actually approve it in his current form, sculpt wise anyway, so I wouldn't worry about it to much i'm sure it will be fine by release.

Does Marvel have a formal approval process built into the HT production process? It would be interesting to understand if they do, and if so, exactly when in the production process they render their approval.

The question: Could Vision lift the hammer because he was righteous or because the power of the stone? :p

Because he was righteous. Vision has the purest of good intentions and so was deemed worthy. Him lifting the hammer demonstrated to the Avengers that he wasn't BSing them nor was he their enemy.

Also, if the Avengers jeapordizes life later, he would kill them all :lol

Everything I've read states (if you go by comic book standards) is it has nothing to do with Vision's worthiness.

"Whosoever holds this hammer, if he be worthy, shall possess the power of Thor.” Vision never gains Thor's power. He can lift it but he isn't worthy.

That's what I thought . The fact he's Artificial Intelligence and is not really mortal or human thus the Gods rules do not apply to him.

I wouldn't put too much thought into this as I highly doubt it's going to play any significant role going forward in the MCU. Essentially Whedon used this as a plot device to convince the Avengers to trust Vision without wasting a lot of dialogue and run time, that's basically it. Whether 'worthiness' means you gain Thor's powers or if there's a level of 'worthiness' sufficient to just lift the hammer (which one can argue there are varying levels as Cap was able to move it slightly), I'll leave that to the folks who like to debate.

Yeah, I see Vision as a blank slate.

Totally agree that it was Whedon moving the story faster and just a "whoa" moment for AoU.

That's how I took it. He's not worthy, he's just an AI, not exactly a biological being, and so the law Odin set upon Mjolnir doesn't restrict him.

I would MUCH rather Cap have been worthy in the final battle and popped Ultron instead of Vision.
