1/6 Hot Toys - MMS 306 - Avengers: AoU - Thor Collectible Figure

Have this on preorder. I never got LA Thor so this is worth it for me. I do love the chain mail Thor too and used the stealth Cap pegs to make Thor a little taller. I'll use that as my placeholder with the rest of the team until he arrives. Not a fan of the rubber arms but a minor issue for me.

My biggest complaint about this guy was the cape. They went with the dark maroon from his gauntlets
and under armor for the color, and it is not screen accurate. His cape was never that dark.

Luckily, I had the cape from the Dark World version and it swapped out with no problems.

The Dark World cape isn't too short? I wondered if it would be when I found out they made AOU Thor just a tad taller. If it works, I might pick up a parted out cape on Ebay.

Tad taller? It's the same body and legs and torso. Different boots and pegs. It's like one or two millimeters difference. So, no the DW cape isn't to short.

AoU Thor is the same height as MOS. Superman is a bit taller than AoU Cap, who in turn is about the same height as TDW Thor.

From the pictures, I have no quarrel with his cape. I actually like the darker hue.

Was it not that dark in AoU though? I thought both TDW and AoU capes were slightly darker than the capes in the first Thor and Avengers films.
