Would have liked to see more Thor honestly. Not sure if it's what Marvel has done with him in the "cinema verse" or maybe just Chris Hemsworth's portrayal but I'm really liking Thor.
I've thought of getting some Comics because I don't know much beyond the movies but have the feeling it'd be pretty different, not be anything like the Hemsworth portrayal.

Plus right now Thor is a female with Thor Odinson looking on unhappy(from what I understand anyway.) Maybe I'll pick up the VoL1 Thor Goddess of Thunder when it releases later this month.

Odinson (We gotta call him that now.) has currently given the Thor his blessing and is okay with her being worthy of the hammer but he's is still trying to figure out who she is. Odin, on the other hand is extremely unhappy and even sent the Destroyer/Cul to kill her. We're going to find out who she is in #8 either this or next month! They've really really obviously been hinting at who it is but i'll let everyone read and find out.

have you guys seen the thor god of thunder series? the god killer series to be exact, if you're a thor fan you MUST read that, EPIC is an understatement.

I know who the new thor is. It wasn't such a big surprise but it's great seeing her fit into the big picture

I don't like it. I hate how Marvel is catering to all the new social trend. Female Thor, Black Captain America, gay Iceman and etc. Leave the original characters alone and create new superheroes if you really want to satisfy the social justice warriors. Not being sexist or racist or homophobic, just don't like it being shoved down our throats that these are suppose to replace the characters we grew up and love.

I have to agree, it's no different with the upcoming "all female cast" ghostbusters movie.
Love my females but it was done solely as a publicity stunt.

Yep, it really was the Cap and Tony (not so much IM, but Tony) show.. I'm a bit of a Thor fan, so I'd like to have had more... at least there is still a stand-alone sequel to go..

Kamala Khan is the best thing we've gotten since Runaways and Young Avengers. She's absolutely fantastic. THATS how you pass on a mantle.

I am wondering why Hot Toys haven't announced this figure yet, it's not that Thor is a new member to the Avengers or have gone through a complete costume change, other regular Avengers members have long been announced and some are even released already.

I think because its so similar to TDW, they are waiting for companies to empty their stock more of said figure, before fans have a chance to get this one.

HT is having a contest on FB for people to guess who the MMS 300 will be. Winner gets the AOU War Machine. If they're doing this kind of contest, chances are it won't be Thor. Ultimate Ultron maybe? Mark 45?
