Hi everyone I'm new and this is only the second forum group I belong to.

Just wanted to ask would it be possible to put a pair of the armoured sleeves on the AoU Thor and how hard it would be?
I know the figure itsnt out yet, but I was wondering if anyone had tried it with a pervious figure?

I sold off my LA Thor so I could get this version instead

Hmm I like both, I think the LA Thor is really cool and perfect
but I think this is very similar. I say go for the AOU one

So go with that one I like the AoU one because of the light up hammer, updated changes to the outfit and that its from AoU. Reality is we have awhile until this version is released. Yes popular opinion right now is that the LA thor is the best but who knows that may change. You asked what people were picking so I told you what I chose lol

Yeah I say go for that LA thor too, its a really great figure

LA Thor is an awesome figure that I never thought I'd sell! Still kinda shocked I did but I wanted them to all be from the same movie and no way I was having two version that are so similar!

The Light Armor version is great but the AOU one edges it out IMO:

- Closed mouth

- Light up and regular Mjolnir

- Silver armor

- Undershirt (the Light Armor version with no undershirt reminds me of a hillbilly in overalls for some reason )

Armored DW Thor is the only Thor I need.

I have pretty good self control and I hate buying repeat characters... but it's going to be so hard since you know there are probably at least three more Thors from Hot Toys on the horizon...

Well maybe two... Thor 3 and Avengers 3.1/3.2

I'm sure he will get the DX treatment though one day

I prefer AoU Thor overall but am considering getting the TDW Thor head for action poses. The AoU face expression is nice for museum poses but a bit lacking otherwise.

Why? There hasn't been a single dx marvel figure (I don't think..so many it's hard to keep track) and no dx in a long while. If anyone where to get the dx I would think it would be an iron man...though I think the days of dx are pretty much over. If they where going to do one this would have been the one. Multiple hammers throw in the rock base something related to vision maybe the civilian outfit.

I was thinking about DX's the other day, you're right, last to come out was DX14. Wondering if any of the BvS line will be a DX. Either way, doesn't look like we will see one in 2015 at all.

Yeah they seem to be gone. The closest is the "deluxe" hulk. Which I suppose is a dx. But they intentionally didn't label a dx so I'm not sure what that means.

To be clear, what I think is/will happen isn't what I hope/want. I hope every character and every release is a dx with 5 heads and two bodies and is free. What I think will happen is something else.

And given how many thor figures we already have without a DX..and marvel in general...seems very long odds

And I'd Love to see a dx from the bvs line. That would be great

Absolutely.. I'd have had to wait some time for a new Thor with little differences, and a Widow without a straight black outfit.. and pay more for them.. Neither of which are the best likeness in the sculpt either.. I mean, I'd wait for the AoU Cap purely for the sculpt likeness alone (although it is my favourite outfit to date also)

Yea I noticed the seams on a couple of my La Thor bodies. But the rest don't have it. I wonder if it was just one batch and they noticed it. Something changed somewhere along the line as only some of mine have it. I didn't even notice it on them for a long while. So maybe they avoid it the next time out.

Anyone seen the commando body yet? Outside of the camo paint I wonder how it is.
