Are you able to adjust the dome? Bring it forward and tilt it down a bit?

No-can-do... Dome is fixed on a peg in slot.

The cape is one of the things wanting to make me keep the Rogue One no matter what. They may never do a good only like that again.

Just from a quick check the ANH cape is the thinnest and lightest. I dunno but I think the RO and the ESB cape feel and look like the same material.

I know you’re keeping your PO and I’ll say that it’s definitely possible to get this figure looking good once adjusted and posed. It’s growing on me since I got him earlier today.

I'm starting to believe the theories that HT intentionally makes each 1/6 Vader flawed so people will keep buying the next "improved" version.. It sucks for the people who got one with poor qc.

Yeah, we're probably gonna get a 2.0 ESB Vader w/General Veers. Same as they did with the Vader/Tarkin set. It'll have all the improvements; but the only way to get the proper Empire Vader is buying the 2-pack. Then the only way to get Veers w/the AT-AT Commander accessories will be the single release.

That’s a great shot, Indy. He looks fantastic there and I’m sure will sway the naysayers back into keeping the PO. This Vader needs more suit between the chest box and belt and around he chest box. His tabbards didn’t come right on top of the box like ANH. We’re slowly getting there.

They absolutely have to allow for improvements. So they absolutely have to "let things go" in certain areas. There's no denying it.

Thanks Jbeltram! Looking him over now, I actually really like it. As it’s been pointed out though, it’s not perfect of course. Things like the tusk angle and widows peak, I wouldn’t even have noticed if it weren’t brought out. I get enough of an ESB vibe from him personally. There’s improvements to be made for the ROTJ, but overall this one is a pretty solid figure.

To be honest, I’ve had mine in the same pose for so long with the gloves concealed, that I forgot those are the gloves mine still has.

The helmet doesn't look ESB at all to me. Looking at all these pictures and film stills has only solidified my opinion. All I see is the Rebels Vader helmet or some variation of that. Glad some people are happy, but in my eyes, this is a piss poor attempt by HT.

100% agree. Originally I was giving it the benefit of the doubt, then as the pics flooded in, it's still crap. Even the shiny outfit looks cheap..all creased up at the top of the legs like the SS deluxe one. It really looks like a (really good) Crazy Toys release.

I hope the Jedi one has interchangeable heads, or the helmet is going to be way over sized/head really undersized.

Unfortunately, I think unless they go the route they’re going with 1/4 with two separate helmets for full reveal, the RotJ isn’t going to be much better. Maybe(hopefully) they’ll improve the tusks and widows peak, but as has been said, I think this is the proto-Jedi helmet. Like Wor said, can’t make it too perfect cause then we’ll have no reason to throw more money down on more Vaders(well, for most at least...I’ll always need the latest greatest one lol).

I can't see them going with one head sculpt for the ROTJ, especially if it's a DX. The probability of people scratching the Anakin sculpt when putting the helmet on is too great. Then there's the issue of getting all the pieces to properly align and hold together so that it doesn't fall apart and take damage.
