A couple negative points I see:
I wish it were easier to move the belt down, but it’s too tight to fit over the codpiece. And then the box for the chest lights behind his left hip blocks it from going any further down.

The only way to tilt his head down is to push the neck under the chest armor. But if you keep it like that with his head facing forward, it kinda gives him the short neck look.

However, I don’t find the dome falling off to be an issue. Once pushed in all the way, it’ll stay there until you take it off. Only when moving his head is when you might have to reposition it.

And thanks SilverStar and yy0925! Not the best pic, but that’s all I could get with the weather. I’ll try to futz around some more and get him as best looking as I can.

Here's a question, how do the shin guards fit on this one? I never liked how they don't wrap around the boots on my R1.

This one is the biggest bummer to me, because I think that’s the area that’s throwing it off the most for me.

And no problem! :duff

ROTJ Vader's big problem will be the pinhead sized Anakin head.

That and the crap voice electronics. Yes, I feel they will return to the voice electronics in the final DX ROTJ Vader.

"Help me take... this mask off."

"Let me look at you... with my own eyes."

"Now go, son... go and never be a recluse and always be ready to fight for good."

"There's this thing where you can project yourself anywhere in the galaxy right from your sofa... look into it, it'll save you having to actually go anywhere.":lol

I can't see them going with one head sculpt for the ROTJ, especially if it's a DX. The probability of people scratching the Anakin sculpt when putting the helmet on is too great. Then there's the issue of getting all the pieces to properly align and hold together so that it doesn't fall apart and take damage.
Right. Plus, the head would be tiny. Definitely going to be a $300 figure..as long as it goes on pre-order next year. If they wait any longer, it'll be at least $320. Big Mac meals are already over $7 for god sakes!

Yeah they always seem to make the Anakin head pretty small on these figures. Even the 1/4 sculpt, as great as it is, doesn't have quite as big and round a head as Shaw actually had in the movie. Or maybe people just prefer a more idealized version like that.

They fit a lot better than the RO shin guards. That was something I didn’t like with that one. These fit nice and properly.

Actually to clarify on that part, I checked again and the box for the chest lights is threaded on the codpiece belt. And that you can move down. So thankfully it’s possible to increase the gap between the belt and chest box at least by a little.

So I guess that means that the box for the chest lights is a remote? When I first found out about it I thought it was wired into the body. Looks like that’s not the case

Thanks for the good news!
Looking forward to see more pictures of your Vader. The first one was really awesome :clap

Here's more RO pics compared to ESB (RO are my pics with real camera)

RO looks good from certain angles too: RO.JPGScreenshot_20180824-230737_Instagram.jpegRO2.JPGRO3.JPG

Neck too long, dome is too short in the back and the side flare is too wide...the main reason I want to replace it

Different set of flaws, but no long face and less mask problems overall. Eyes, cheeks, nose size, mouth, upper mouth grill angle and tusks a bit better than the ESB

also it might have a nose plug, but it seems sculpted almost as deep as the ESB without the nose plug because of the shallow mouth grill

The way the ESB sculpt sits on the body with the lack of a neck more resembles R1 Vader to me.

I actually kind of like the ESB figure better for a R1 Vader and the R1 figure better for an ESB Vader.
