Lol if you’re going down that path it would be like this

RO Vader with Krennic in Mustafar, ANH Vader with Tarkin in Death star, ESB Vader vs Luke bespin, ROTJ Vader vs Jedi Luke in Emperor throne room, ROTS Vader in operating room with Emperor

Or you could do a Vader and a villain sidekick from each film:

R1: Vader-Krennic
ANH: Vader-Tarkin
ESB: Vader-Boba Fett
RotJ: Vader-Emperor

Just a guess: Bespin Luke DX 2.0 with a matching diorama piece to Vader instead of the Cloud City piece. And improved sculpt/hair. Maybe no PERS.

I figure it’s just for the pics but I did notice in one of the product pics on SS the base continues out of the side of the pic like there is a longer version but it was probably just for the photos. Would be cool though.

This would be perfect. It's one of the best scenes in the whole saga. I'd love to have Luke 2.0 with a connecting base. It would get its own display area.

Well, I just bit at Sideshow...I was trying to downsize my HT figures and concentrate on my vintage toys, but Im just so weak, I must have it...lol...And please hurry and announce a 2.0 Bespin Luke, Hot Toys....

Not true. Remember when Han and Chewbacca 2 packs, and Obi Wan were long sold out and BAM re-release? 2 packs were hitting 900 on the aftermarket and Obi Wan was going for over 500. I got lucky and was able to add them to my collection thanks to the re-release versions.

No it's true...few months after this release Hot Toys released additional figures...not sure what happened behind the scenes on that one but it was not billed as a "re-release" they simply listed additional stock within months of the initial sell-out...produced some more or held some back...? Who knows? Hot Toys has never straight up re-released a figure that sold out FIVE YEARS ago...so I am standing by my original point.

Yeah, figs like Ben and Chewy were back a few months after selling out - 6 months tops. Luke Bespin is ancient history, long before HT even had their own SW license.

My guess is that after ESB Vader ships they will announce a new deluxe Bespin Luke with Dagobah parts - basically, same fig with different headsculpt. It'll be positioned as a partner to either Yoda or Vader. They have to do ESB Han first though.

Oh yeah -- to clarify, I never thought they'd re-release DX07 in any way, just a new version of Bespin Luke, no PERS most likely...

I don't think BBTS gets too much stock on their no-NRD figures. Seems like they've cut back.
