Very cool but not sure I want this one. Even though I'm getting the new spidey.

Seen the movie last night. Movie was good. I'm really excited about this guy now. Im gonna have to build another display case! :gah:

I wound up liking the film quite a bit more than I expected to. I would sort of like to have this figure but I have a feeling it's going to be too high priced for me to justify buying it. Especially given the limited screen time of the character. Although
I'm guessing it may be back in the eventual Sinister Six film

To everyone who wanted a more Ultimate version of Rhino as a guy in a suit. Well, you can thank your fictional deity that it didn't happen. (actual concept art)

I love the second concept and i wish they would have used it instead.

Is rhino in the movie like he is in the comics?

That was the most corny character i've seen in awhile (the person before he became rhino)

The suit itself is horrible as well as the movie.

I almost fell asleep several times.

No he is not. Rhino in the comics has a body suit with a horn that resembles an actual rhino skin and definitely not this mechanized scrap metal that put together at a chop shop.

Come on, bad design work doesn't mean the whole concept is worthless and you know it! :lol

But yeah, those are pretty terrible. So is approved Goblin design.

Well you can't fault them for lack of effort. It looks like they really tried to make it happen, but ultimately realised none of the concepts were adequate. It almost seems as if the final design was really a last resort.

I haven't seen the movie but was the idea of this Rhino suit supposed to be kind of hand made? Similar to Tony Stark Mark I he made in the cave?

You are correct!

Ahh Yep I seen him listed on IMDB.... although I'm curious as how you get B.J.Novak into this:

Watched the movie yesterday and I did like the whole modern look of rhino. His legs are not as small as I thought they would be. I'm thinking of getting the figure now.

I don't know who gives the final word as to what's scrapped and what makes it to the film. Same with X-men DOFP where some concepts for Quicksilver looked way better than what was used on the film.

It's a good thing that Spidey ended up using the classic tights and none of those new concepts for ASM 2. However, I can't say the same for Rhino. I think these are better:
