I just went to Hong Kong Disneyland over the holidays and they have the Star Tours-based ride “Iron Man Experience”. In it you ride the “Iron Wing” and follow a slightly recolored Mark 45 into action over Hong Kong downtown. It’s a pretty cool ride and I’m surprised to find that Hot Toys, being a HK based company, never released an exclusive Mark 45 with matching colors to the one in the ride! At that ride’s gift shop, they have Dr. Strange and Ant-Man HT figs and that’s it for high end figs. They are converting Buzz Lightyear retro blasters into an Ant-Man shooting game opening late this year.

Nice pix as always!

Bought a mark 45 off a member and now I can finally take my war machine mark 2 AOU out of the box!

Nice! I really wish I could trade my IM3 WM for the AOU version

Yeah the AoU version is a lot better but pretty cheap nowadays. I wouldnt even sell mine because of the aftermarket hit it took.

Agree, would've been awesome to get the 45 with a different color scheme.

Based on what the mk50 looks like in IW, the 45 and 46 should have swapped places. It's a perfect inbetween of the edgier 46 and the organic 50.

The Mark 50 looks silly. I think it will be an easy pass pass pass for me.

I keep going back and forth. Based on that Disneyland commercial and even the trailer, the armor looks so organic. Just look at the shoulder complex. It's pretty much seamless. Very curious to see how HTs pulls off that seamless look while incorporating articulation as well.

I have no doubts the suit will be amazing as a figure and on screen. It is the next BIG suit and will most likely have a nice base and extras. Hot Toys will knock it out of the park as they always do. I just don't have a lot of interest in it.

I definitely agree, with all the multitudes of armors, I think it comes down to preference. (I'm still torn on which one I like the most though hehe)

Yeah. And it depends on the suit vs figure.

I always loved the Mark 3, but I recognize the figure is not the best. I believe the Mark 6 will be my fav figure tho. I am drawn more to the robotic looking suits.

I preferred the MK3 as well but the figure was lacking in height and “umpf”. I sold it to get this one cause it seemed to me the pinnacle and symbiosis of Tony’s technology and the classic muscular comic look at the time.

My next favorite armor is the MK5 just cause it was a cool looking armor but again the figure was lacking. The new one looks amazing though but I don’t think I’d have room for it. Unless I sold something. Hmm what to sell?

The 45 :rotfl

No. Can’t bring myself to sell this one. Unless it was for drug money. LOL.

The Mark 5 is going to be an amazing suit. A lot of new innovations I believe. But the 45 is also amazing...try and stash some money aside and have both.
