If Hallmark can do this

Hot Toys should be able to do that.
It's the eyes that will be the true judge for me. ESB Yoda shows life, like an actual being Luke is talking to despite being a puppet.

C'mon... He ain't that bad... Judge him by his size, do you?

He's only 7cm tall!!! :dunno

So is this repaint of the BS Yoda. The head's the size of the end of your thumb but it's a pretty decent sculpt (shown off by the repaint.) This is one of the very few sculpts - at any scale - that comes sort of close to capturing Yoda's facial proportions and "vibe."

Yeah... That's a good one too... Awesome repaint...
I still think the Koto wins for "Yoda-ness"...

Wouldn't it be great if Hot Toys gave us a second headsculpt like below?
I still remember 1980, Odeon cinema Leicester Square on my 8th birthday, watching Yoda lifting Luke's X-wing out of the swamp and truly believing the Force was real...

The Force IS real... :lightsabe

I hope they don't make him too heroic or stern and use some reference photos of the man who sculpted him, Stuart Freeborn. That whimsical, humorous side of Yoda is very important.

That's my memory too. That giant mural outside the Odeon, towering over us. Being handed a little badge that said 'Happy Empire Day' on it and putting it on before we went inside. Magical.

Sorry for the off-topic ... normal services can now resume ... :wink1:

Knowing Hot Toys he'll have a nice heroic looking jaw and will have a nice vacant stare to go along with it.

His skin will be a couple of shades too dark.

I can live with the color being slightly off but they have to nail the sculpt. Give him some wispy, straggly rooted hair, some life in his eyes, and and I'll be a happy camper.
