I know what you mean. To me, I wouldn't get this Luke as a stand alone Luke figure. I would only acquire him if I was going to get the ROV Rey (which I am) to recreate the last scene in TFA (which I plan to do).

Also I still don't know if the robotic hand on the figure is a fixed posed. From what the expo pics show, the hand is still in the exact pose as it was at SDCC. Most definitely will not buy if you can't move the robotic fingers

But, where are the anicom photos? Must have missed them.

Probably a mandate from HT? I imagine they have control over how their products are presented.

They've been doing articulated endo fingers since 2008.

That was my take on it as well but he could have gone so far off the grid that the hand had some issues and he had to do the T2 skinning his own arm thing to get at the underlying mechanics.

It's just rotted away and a black glove wouldn't go with his look. Simple.
