Pretty sure they're going for a 'forced perspective' look. . . too gimmicky for my tastes. As I mentioned in another thread, Hot Toys is taking the Hasbro approach to figures nowadays, making anything and everything instead of treating them like scaled replicas, and it's bumming me out.

So true! Though even with a forced perspective it looks so wrong.

The rope belt on the HT looks like it needs to be pulled down further.

With Sideshow's mark up increasing with each release I'm guessing $249.99 for regular, $300 for deluxe.

Probably so they can include that dynamic stand sarlaac pit deluxe edition since he never flies in ESB. I'm undecided at the moment as well, the rocket flames look a little weird so I don't know if I'd have him in a flight pose, but it is a cool option... an ESB version could've come with carbonite Han Solo as a deluxe too...

I hope you are wrong and I am right about the price.

$250 would stink, but I think a lot of people would still go for it.
