Ship date now is Feb 2013 :slap just right when I was going to preoder this again since I canceled it a while back.

If we get Loki OR Thor before the end of 2013, I will be shocked. And that goes for Hulk too.

This is a severe disappointment and .... really sucks.

They're lying to us about this issue because they know if they announce a figure and say, "Yes here is cool HT #34567, you can preorder now but it will be a YEAR before you get it," that a lot of people will be teed off.

And rightfully so, because this is far too long a lead time. Six months at the outside should be MORE than enough time.

Wait, there's a possibility of the figures being delayed for more than a year from now? :horror

I'm not sure I understand why it will take that long for HT to get their act together... Explain?

Talk about disappointed. I was looking forward to getting Loki the most for XMAS as well as Joker and they're being released sometime next year. Guess I should've seen it coming (Welcome to Hot Toys. Better have the patience of a saint when preordering lol!)

Collecting HT figures = expect delays of one to several months before you hit that PO button. While seeing Loki get bumped by 2 months in one go is somewhat of a surprise, I highly doubt even HT would bump him or Thor off until end of 2013...that is assuming there is no internal issues with HT.

I really want to believe there won't be any further delays for this figure, but you know what they say - hope for the best, expect the worst. :dunno

CANCEL CHRISTMAS ! :panic:

And to think I was planning on using Loki as a tree topper. :monkey2

...No. But that would've been funny.

CANCEL CHRISTMAS !
Seriously. Lol

I was really looking forward to Thor, Loki, Bats and Joker for Xmas. Oh well, guess someone other than me will be getting something this year. :wink1:

If I can resist paying it off before then, Santa will still be bringing my tumbler.

I'm sorry to say but get use to it or get out of the hobby. That's just how it is. There have been plenty of people before you upset and complaining and there will be plenty after you. Figures are still delayed.
:dunno

Oops! I meant until end of 2013 or early 2014. I wouldn't put it past HT to delay some of them until summer. They certainly make a game out of the release dates :gah: but my wallet appreciates it :rotfl

Part of the problem I bet is HT was rushing to take advantage of the Avengers hype and rolled out a bunch of protos at the peak interest. Now they're just overworked trying to produce them all :slap

We are still looking at very a congested 4Q

Iron Monger ,Bat Pod and T 800 are due in November,
Captain america , Black Widow, Batman TDKR and both metal gear figures due in December 5 figures in one month come on.

This is not even taking in to account split shipments which could delay it even furhter I suspect more delays they should have put out a releastic release schedule from the get go

You think that with the avengers figures being bumped that the TDKR figures won't be bumped?

If they are smart they would offer at least one figure from TDKR this year to capitalize on the movie while its still fresh in peoples minds Nick fury is out and Hawkeye is due to be released soon so Avengers is already represented but nothing from TDKR.

Well Batman is represented this year in the rerelease of the tumbler and limted number of Gordon and if they get the Bat Pod this year but as far as the main figures nothing

5 figures in a month is not realistic the need to tell us what they are actually prepared to release and we know all those figures are highly anticipated so they will most likely make a decent amount of them

Sometimes figures being bumped aren't entirely bad.

I don't understand the delay? If the protos are already finished, then what's the problem? Does it have something to do with the license approval? Or is HT a small man operation that can only produce so much as once? Just curious.... :dunno

Its a very labour intensive process tailoring and sewing each figures cloths takes time unlike when the release a plastic figure

The delays suck. No question.

I seriously doubt that HT has these figures box and ready to be shipped to us and they are simply refusing to so they can watch us suffer.

I'm sure the delays are based on license issue, quality control, production issue, retooling, running changing or other reasons I'm not thinking of or knowing.

But we can't have it both ways. We can complain about wanting the figures as close to perfect as possible and then freak out when delays come as a result of trying to get them that way. :cuckoo::dunno
