This ones too hard to resist. The sculpt, the detailed costume and the fact it's such an awesome character means I'll have to buy it.

Sunday night 8/19: Sideshow's "checking inventory" again. wash/rinse/repeat.

I ended up cancelling Thor. I WILL pick up a Thor later on, I feel like I will have more chances since we are getting a second Avengers movie and a second Thor film. It really bummed me out to cancel him. I still want him. I'd kind of like for him to be a little cheaper, no doubt a vain hope.

However Loki is still coming here, do or die or wait a million years. Also keeping my Play Arts Kai Catwoman, she's so cute and looks so fun to play with that I just got to have her. [Not to mention she's quite a bit cheaper.]

Yes, tax time is a good idea. I dont expect Thor to be on sale for tons off or anything, I think I want to pay for Loki first before I commit to another figure. If the releases were going to be staggered by several months that would be one thing, but two at almost the same time? Ack.

+1 the only time something is LE is if the product is numbered. Otherwise LE only means make as many until people stop buying

Thor will grace my shelves one day, just not right now. Since I'm getting him to go with Loki, once I get Loki in-hand I will start worrying about Thor. I'm thinking we'll probably actually get Avengers Loki right around the time "Thor: The Dark World" gets released. *big sigh*

Completely agree, these tactics are making Sideshow look like a bunch of ninnyhammers. Like they don't even know what is in their own warehouse....OH WAIT! There are *zero* Lokis right now in their warehouse... which makes it all the stupider.
