That's probably why I'm going to skip the AoU line because there are just too many. The Ultron sentries and drones are like the Chitauri where hardcore collectors will probably by more than one, and there are just so many characters, haha. I'm trying to figure out which ones I can do without.

Question to owners:

Can this figure do this? If so, pics please! Thanks in advance. (pic in the last page is close, but isn't quite this so I wanted to see if anyone has achieved it)

I tried this pose immediately, and it looks like with some finagling he can get pretty close. I however was afraid I was going to split his pants getting his legs perfect, basically I got him in the pose but couldn't get his feet to touch on the bottoms. Also, getting the webbing just right is a little difficult. Overall, it can "kind of" be done.

Yeah for a $230 fig I think that imperfection/dirt is just way too obvious, and will probably ask for an exchange if I were you.

I'll probably accept it if it was a NECA release, but for the price a HT figures goes for, it's not wrong to be more picky and expect better quality :)

So tempted to get this with 20% off coupon..... Must at some point have a Spidey for my HT collection, but now that Marvel is designing him for Civil War..... :gah: I did read Kevin Feige said he will be unlike any previous film version, so fans are speculating he'll have his webbing under arms, darker red/black look and smaller eyes like Ditko's original costume which I was never crazy about. I loved the big McFarlane eyes... What to do, what to do...:panic: I think I'm :cuckoo: And Sideshow had teased a comic version of Spider-Man in there line too....

I picked this guy up as my "one" Spidey in my collection also with a coupon. He's just awesome. The proportions of the body and costume are damn near perfect for Spidey. Aside from the emblem its like he jumped off the page. I say go for it!

I never thought about he webs under his arms. That would be unique.

I picked him up at Megacon last weekend. This figure is all kinds of awesome. It is definitely one of my favorite Hot Toys. Fortunately, mine does not have any of the black stuff on his face. If anyone is on the fence about getting this figure, go for it. You won't be disappointed.

I believe Feige said it was going to be a homemade version of the Spider-Man costume...what does "homemade" means for him :dunno

I wanted to get this figure, but the black stains all over held me back...

Take a chance. Mine had no black stains on it. You could get lucky and get one without the stains.
