Wish they'd make magneto bishop and quicksilver the DOFP (non avengers) version
I'm pretty sure hot toys not doing a large variety of xmen characters has to do with marvel. They allow wolverine but that's as far as they'll go considering the xmen franchise is at Fox currently. Recent examples of this include marvel restricting almost all general dofp merchandise. Remember seeing those school folders with dofp wolverine and quicksilver on them? Me neither lol

It's a nice figure and suit design but personally no movie version of wolverine has appealed to me so far (blame it on the movies not HT), wish they'd do a more comics inspired look sometime (ie. face mask, bright costume). For now they're all Hugh Jackman with claws.

Has nothing to do with them only allowing wolverine. It's about people paying for the license and those products actually selling. Which these don't. Even wolverine.
More like HT is too cheap to pay for the license rights for the other characters. They have no faith in anything marvel except avengers, Iron man, etc. They wont take a leap of faith and try giving us any x-men characters out of fear of poor sales. I'm pretty sure most of the mainstream x-men would sell fine.

Well for some the actors won't allow the rights (may change with new situation now going forward) but with DOFP and first class each actor could turn down a deal. Most films that's all done and included.
And if you think most would do well how do you explain wolverine? He's the most mainstream. Most popular by a fair margin. And does around 10% of the avengers/iron man. The xmen merchandising has never been very big movers.
As for no faith except in avengers...so u forgot about blade, whistler, ghost rider, three spiderman, Harry Osborn, thanos, rocket and groot(twice), star lord...I think marvel is pretty well supported.

Easy answer, HT never capitalized on any X-Men hype.
Look at what's going with the AOU figures releasing just in time for the new movies release.
Then, every Wolverine figure they have made to date had a terrible likeness.
And every Wolverine figure we've gotten prior to DOFP has been from the worst films in the series.
All of them have been overpriced and come with little to no accessories.
Sorry but HT does a piss poor job at selling Wolverine figures because they have made some idiotic decisions regarding the X-Men license, so far.
Fassneto has made almost everybody's most wanted list on this site, and I see a bunch of people begging for him to be made on social media. DOFP was the second highest grossing superhero movie of the year and now there's other characters in these films that are almost as popular as Hugh Jackman's Wolverine. Fassneto would sell, Mystique would sell, Stewart/professor X would sell, Mckellan/Magneto would sell. All of them at the very least would sell better than some of Hot Toys riskier releases like Crane. I also doubt figures like Falcon (while an awesome figure) are flying off the shelves.
Worst part about it is they sit in licenses so that other companies can't produce figures for films that fans have been dying for. I still think we'll be getting other characters besides Wolverine from this franchise but it's taking much longer than I had anticipated.

oh man this came out so well... and seeing the box art just makes me want so much more from DOFP 
Looks really good. And from one of the best X-Men movies. Unfortunately, he doesn't see any real action in this suit, and it doesn't really scream "Wolverine" to me. I may pick it up later if I find it for a good price. Or maybe I'll just get the head to update my Origins figure.

I loved the movie but that was the one nitpick I had with it.

Turned out amazing. I wasn't planning on getting him but I might really consider it if there's a really good Spook sale.
Another pass. Likeness still isn't so there that I am willing to settle for a version other than the outfit I really want.

The sculpt is so emotionless. For the price it should come with a second head sculpt . I think I'll pass . I'm good with my last stand wolverine .

A lot of the lack of X-Men product falls on Disney/Marvel. They have admitted that they are sticking the srcrews to FOX in whatever way they can. Hot Toys cannot make the other characters, because Disney is interfering. FOX even said as much. They called out Marvel for not allowing them to make toys based on the films. So that's where blame needs to be placed.
