My exclusive converted yesterday - wish it hadn't after I saw the movie. Was disapointed.

I don't regret missing the exclusive at all now. Though I wish it was in the movie. Ultron just didn't seem as threatening as he was in the comics without the ability to take over Iron Man's armors. Mark 45 being Ultron proof would've actually made it significant.

Kind of bugs me that the figure has the wrong forearm missle but I think I'll get over it.

maybe he has them on both sides but we didnt see him use both :dunno :lol
Its more believable though that HT rushed into this :ohbfrank:

and I guarantee you, that the 45 will be announced a few days after SSC ships out their orders :gah:

After seeing the movie this is a definite get for me now. It's the main Armor of the film and the 45... Well not spoiling but not the one to get. Once this starts to ship out from Sideshow very soon I'll order.

Agreed. ..especially with the Mark I Ultron piece.

I'm on the fence on this one. Well both Iron Man armors.. they didn't quite actually do much in the film IMO. At least the MKVI did more up front in the first Avengers.

Cap...Mk. 43...Star Lord...Wolverine...after seeing the movie and the exceptional opening, I really want this armor. I was going to hold out and go for the NECA 1/4 because I love them so, even if the Mk. 7 had wonky legs, but this... This is a different story I think.
Think the fading undies problem is solved with this? He doesn't quite have that build set up as it merges into the torso and isn't a separate piece. Have there been any reported problems with the Mk. 42?

I agreed, the film was more Tony Stark than IM, and as cool as the 45 looks, it didn't do anything special to stand out at all.

But Tony Stark is Iron Man [emoji14] this version of the character, to me at least, doesn't need the suit to become that hero, especially after IM3.
Right? Zero interest in getting this :ohbfrank:
Now where's the PO? :impatient:

:monkey3
Oh Brainiac, never change :D I really want to say I will still with the upcoming and already ordered 3 and 43 as my new I'M additions at least until CW or IW... But I am making no promises, just wish he had more gadgets and gizmos, best for that was the Mark 6 for me.

I bet if HT really wanted to, they could do a two-pack of a 43-scheme PowerPose and Tony in Under Armour...
with a prehensile gauntlet for holding the scepter. The 43's "sentry mode" actually lends itself to PowerPose.

That could work, it would need to include a second arm minus the gauntlet for while Tony has it on though... but if I were to have a civvie Stark I would rather he either be from the party along with everyone else trying to lift the hammer or with the gauntlet and chest from the 43 fighting Cap.
