With the included stand and clip, any danger in me having the figure displayed in a flying pose that's hovering above the stand? Not sure if the weight will hurt it or if it'll slip easily.

Well...after waiting the whole day for UPS to deliver, he finally came! I LOVE him! Really a great toy and I am happy I ordered him. Have pics up on my IG account. :)

I don't think it will if you have everything tightened like it's supposed to. My only fear is the whole thing toppling over.

It feels incredibly sturdy, doesn't have the usual lean if something that might topple. Will keep an eye on it though. Great figure, tracking down an exclusive for the scratched face plate was totally worth it, gives the figure a lot of character.

Just got mine in. Was able to spend enough time to open it and check it out. It definitely feels heavy and looks great, but I'm glad I haven't bought any other IM figs. There isn't anything wrong with this one in comparison to the other suits I've seen, I'm just not a big fan of the way these are made in comparison to clothed or skin style figures. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad I bought him to have a cool looking Iron Man, this just doesn't feel like a hot toy to me. Not sure if it's the way it positions or the joints or what, but it just doesn't stand out like my other HT's I own.

Wow, very surprised to read this kind of reaction to this set.

haha. opened it up yet?

well i received my igor months back. unbox and boxed it back twice. simply coz i cant find a place to display it yet.
1st was to check and admiring the figure.
the 2nd time was when the whole family wanted to see it as its the biggest ironman figure yet. :rotfl

Um...not yet. :panic:I spent last night converting my battery-powered vibranium arc reactor display to electrical power...very happy that I got that to work! But, it left no time, sadly, to unbox my toys. And I don't want to rush through it just to get it over with, you know? I want to do it at a time when I can take my time and enjoy it. Especially because the actual unboxing is sometimes a little stressful, what with all the plastic you have to carefully remove, tricky-to-open battery compartments, etc.

Whenever you do get the time to open them up, you need to take pics :) Look forward to seeing them :)
I will definitely take pics. I have a couple of ideas of where I am going to display this guy, but I'm not sure what pose I will use yet.

Thanks, Brain and it really is. People can say what they want regarding rising prices, but this piece feels worth it's weight. And although the battle damaged head isn't movie-accurate, it just looks too cool.
Yes, that's how I feel about that head, too. I think I like it partially because it's a little different.
