I feel ike Thanos is one of those figures whose value is gonna skyrocket after market.

really? Igor is the worst IM armour design yet imo, HT figures rarely skyrocket in value anymore anyway, the production numbers seem much higher than they used to be

this does seem like the case..... only certain exclusives and promo figures seem to go up in value
I don't collect to resell so it doesnt bother me

even HT's robocop can sit properly on his own on the mechanical chair,
cant understanding why HT failed to do the same on thanos!

Well, there WILL be another Thanos. He probably won't have the throne, but he will have the Infinity Gauntlet. And it may be 5 years before that figure happens. Its doubtful HT will do another Mark 43 unless its a battle damage variant, exclusive of some kind. But they will obviously be making more and more and more and yet more Iron Men

The Mark 43 has an exclusive. And exclusive accessories always appreciate. Thanos doesn't have one and may even drop in price once a second, likely superior, version (because of the glove) is released.

Finally put my order in This will be a Favorite in my collection and my most anticipated figure for 2015 besides Hulk buster and han , chewie. This look's so bad @$$! Bring on APOCALYPSE some time after this please...Cant wait for this grail! I'm thinking a bloody human skull in 1 hand and maybe tesseract cube in other sitting on throne in Menacing sitting pose.

easy! Take a coin and assign a figure to a side(e.g: Thanos-Heads, 43-tails)
Now flip the coin and look at it

I'm not as invested in the comics as most of you guys, but isn't Thanos also a much more important/compelling character than Groot?

I liked Groot but not nearly enough to spend $200 on him. Thanos however will be essential to a villain collection. I'll buy this one and when the next Thanos comes out in four years I'll get that one too.
