I was thinking about holding out as well but I decided that I will start a Cap collection. I just love the character too much and the costumes have enough differences for me to get them all. But I would assume he will get a newer costume in Civil War. Same with all the other Avengers that will be in the movie. We know Falcon is getting a new suit so Cap probably will as well.

I wouldn't be able to. Most people collect Iron Man. I collect Cap. This is the eight Cap HT has made and its def top 3 for me.

USO Cap/Star Spangled Man: 8/10
Love the outfit and the lore to it, the sculpt is good - but we needed a second sculpt with Evans smiling and a hand that could actually point.

Rescue Mission Cap: 8/10
Less interesting visually since its not really a costume but cool nonetheless. Good sculpt, although the hair looked too flat and dark.

Cap Mark I
Figure: 8/10
Suit: 9/10
Awesome suit, lacking sculpt. It was HT's first Cap and their sculpts weren't on point yet. You put a different head on this figure with a better sculpt and its a 10/10.

Avengers Cap/Cap Mark II
Figure: 9/10
Suit: 8/10
Great suit, good sculpt - though it looks better with the unmasked head - which is sadly over the top. The cowl was a bad decision by Whedon and crew.

STEALTH Cap/Cap Mark III
Figure: 7/10
Suit: 10/10
Best suit so far - despite the lack of red. Best Evans sculpt with the cowl on - but sadly HT replaced Chris Evans' body with Jon Cryer's.

Civilian Steve Rogers: 9/10
Fantastic Evans sculpt that woulda been a 10 had they made his hair blonde. Overall solid figure.

GA Cap/Cap Mark I revisited
Figure: 4/10
Suit: 8/10
A horrendous sculpt by HT that never should have made it into production. Thank God its just a redo of the Mark I from 2011 so I was able to skip it all together. The body on it was off too so just a total miss on HT's part.

AOU Cap/Cap Mark IV
Figure: 9/10 (Tentative)
Suit: 9.5/10
A near perfect mix of the Marks I - III, this suit is awesome, specially with that GORGEOUS Avengers logo on his shoulder. It looks great on the prototype - which woulda been a 10 had they given us a new equally great sculpt.

I'm hoping CIVIL WAR is just the current suit but with the A obviously ripped off and looking like hell by the climax.

This is the first time I've seen a large discrepancy between our local retailers as far as PO price for this figure is concerned. Ranges from as low as $200 to as high as $245.

Considering HT's SRP since 2014 I think $200 is a very good price for this as the Stealth Suit Cap is $220 @ SSC, and this already has the unmasked head + helmet in the accessories.

The oldest LCS franchise here in Manila became an authorized HT distributor last year (making them the third HT distributor in the country) and for AoU Cap they offer the cheapest price I've seen, $200. The $245 is @ the other authorized HT/Sideshow dealer (one of the first 2 HT distributors).

I saw the LCS' $200 offer a few minutes too late, as I just ordered from an online shop for $209. Won't cancel to save $9 more as the online shop's owned by a good friend This would be my first Cap, cancelled Stealth soon as the photos of Evans in AoU costume first came out

Thats exactly my plan (although I don't have Thor, considering tracking down a Starlord), which retailer(s) are you keeping an eye out for this one on? Right now I need to try and get the best price on everything, too much coming out and too many projects on the go!

Nobody knows yet, but it's never too late to speculate... Honestly I'm not sure how they will top this one, i know some people don't like it but it's my favorite cap uniform so far... Since Steve will likely be opposed to the gov't registration act (or whatever it will be about) in civil war, I'm thinking they may want to distance his attire from that of Captain America red, white and blue... So I'm hoping for a red, white and black version reminiscent of the U.S. Agent.

While Cap may oppose the Act, he stands for freedom and America so the colors have to be the traditional red, blue and white. It's the same in the civil war comics anyway.

They can top this attire by making it more simplistic and back to roots kind of uniform. No magnets will be used after this one I think. Old school Cap back in action.

Yeh I am in the UK, noticed they still have him going to see what the budget is like come the end of the week. Ive used SS for the exclusives and ToyHQ for a couple of regular releases. Haven't dealt with either of those but have heard good things, those along with ToyHQ are the 3 UK retailers I am keeping an eye on infact... just wish either of them had the Stealth Cap but oh well lol.

I'm very new to HT (I only currently have TDW Thor) but have Iron man on order and will be ordering this. Both of the companies I mentioned have helped me with any queries I've had.

I'm digging your idea, though I'd rather save the US Agent costume for when they kill off Steve. Definitely don't want them using that hilariously shiny adamantium suit.
