I don't think there will be one either, but I did have an optimistic thought that the reason it's taking so long for SSC to put it up is because they are still working out an exclusive. My optimism never works out for me though.

I'm curious to see how much this will clock in at, but beyond that I have no intention of pre-ordering. I'll just wait until I can get free shipping and 20 bucks off on this to order it, which won't be for a long time I'm sure.

That's what I'm planning on doing too. I think I remember reading the $20 off codes work after 40 days or something like that.
I really hope HT doesn't get cheap on us with this one the way they did with STEALTH Cap and we actually get a body that captures Evans' width and volume.
I do wish HT would stop using lame bodies with a fat suit added to it, use an appropriate body dammit! They did that with the dx12 too.

Evans looks like he didn't mean to blow that up....
Hot Toys said they developed a new muscular body for the Arkham Batman and the figure looks huge in the promo pics. You would think HT would start putting it to use on their other figures.

I know its a cost issue but to that I say - charge me for it. I'd rather spend an extra $50 on a proper body than have the guy look flimsy.

Definitely getting this. Just hope to get the Stealth suit 2 pack, and Falcon before I start a new flex pay on this.

Cap got huge especially after TWS. He even had the most applause out of everyone at SDCC. More than RDJ.
Count me in that minority too. If there weren't so many red accents everywhere (star, shoulders, gloves), this would've been a better looking design. As it is, it's just too busy (and looks a bit too poofy too) while the Stealth suit has a nice sleekness to it (having primarily dark colors helps it look slimmer).
I'll honestly be surprised if this comes out to under $250 at Sideshow, but either way, I'm passing on it. I'm not breaking my "one Cap" rule for this figure, even if it has magnets.
well honestly other than the A1 version none of the CA's have been that great looking and with good likeness. I didnt pull the trigger with A1 version, wish i had but i dont want to pay 400 on evilbay. This is the next best thing other than the strike version.

The Winter Soldier is what the first film shoulda been. I was floored by how great the film turned out to be and how many things it got right: from Cap's glorious fighting skills to the existential crisis that embodies his personal life to the brilliant exploration of his principles...TWS did it right. The first film was weak and had essentially no second act, just a montage of wacky action and a third act that was incredibly lacking. I knew Cap could be as popular as Iron Man - he just needed a good film to showcase how he is the BADASS of all badasses, which TWS did with every single scene he was in.
I'm sooooo happy the Russos are doing Civil War and Avengers: Infinity War I & II.

Do SSC have any real input into that? I always thought Hot Toys decided to make an Exclusive available and then negotiated prices etc with various distributers including SSC. If there hasn't been an exclusive announced through HT direct I doubt there will be one unless they do it as a surprise later down the line.
Still thinking the broken shield will be an Ultron extra, EX or no EX.
That would have been great but it would have rendered the 2 pack moot and the cost difference probably wouldn't have been that great. I have been summing up trying to grab a single Cap along with a head / helmet off Ebay (not necessary now unless I wanted 2 Rogers headed figures at the same time) but again it probably wouldn't be too much then for the 2 pack. Just wish the additional shield was either clean like it was when he wore the outfit the figure comes with or with the level of damage during the Highway battle which in comparison was more 'dirty' than the one we get with the figures.
I really hope that is carried through AoU as no doubt the Russo's will in their films! Loved TWS and I have this 'itch' in the back of my head as at this stage I am unlikely to pick up anything from that film and loved Stealth Cap.
