I wonder how everyone will react if Hulk ends up destroying Hulkbuster in that fight...everyone is so excited for the figure....seems like a probable end...if there is a 45...the Mandarin's film handling turned a lot of people off the figure....

I think people will still buy it, well at least those who can afford it. Sometimes it's not about the character getting destroyed in the end, not even the screen time (or even the whole movie itself!) that makes people buy the figure. It's the character itself, the design, and of course how the figure turned out to be. Iron Monger of course was destroyed, but that's a great figure and those who has it love it. Whiplash 2.0 aka Iron Whiplash seems to have the most demands for an armor that was only shown for like 5 minutes in the movie. TASM2 made even some haters of the movie and of the prototype get the final product :)

Sad but probably true. Is there any way of making Star Spangled Man look less lame? (eg different body)

I always look at the Star Spangled Man figure as it's supposed to be awkward and dorky. Because that's exactly what he was at that point in the movie. He was a puppet.

Yeah I get that, just wanted to have an amalgam of the comic and movie versions (if we're not going to get it in Civil War).

Why not take the head from TFA, the body/costume from Avengers (the first one not AoU) and add the gloves and boots from the Star Spangled Man?

I'm actually hoping that's the case. Stark gives him a good brawl, then Hulk being the strongest one there is, shreds the Hulkbuster. Maybe that's when Natasha shows up to calm him down when Stark couldn't stop him

Exactly, case point the HPP suits most of them got very limited screentime but there will be people who will buy all of them just to own all of them including all of the colour variations. Hulk Buster will sell well and find homes with those of us with the budget and space to display him... I have neither which is why I will be concentrating on what I can afford to pick up and put on my limited shelf space, AoU Cap being an excellent addition as my first Cap.

Hulk will smash up that armour, the fight no matter how long or short should be a good one!

skooternb and Prime Clone: Heres a very quick and very bad photoshop mock-up of what it COULD look like. Granted I think youd have to paint the helmet to match the Avengers outfit shade of blue. This formula would be the head and belt from TFA, gloves and boots from SSM and body of Avengers.......

That was my Halloween costume last year :lol The only difference was i went with the blue rescue army helmet.

Yep me too :hi5: :hi5: I cannot wait to have this figure.... I hope it turns out better than the Strike figure

The Strike figure is actually pretty good. I just got it in hand and I don't really see what the disappointment is about.

Finally given in and ordered this. I now have TWD Thor (my first ever HT) and then this and Iron man Mark 43 on order, I just need a Hulk now haha :yess:

Hi guys, does anyone have experience doing a paypal preorder on sideshow collectibles? I see the paypal button for preorder items on sideshow collectibles. IE, I see a paypal button for the HT AOU Cap, priced at $225.

Will they charge me shipping now?
Or will they charge me shipping one month before the items arrive?

Also, the paypal buyer protection is now six months, but the item is more than six months out. Since sideshow is an established company, I don't have any fears about them taking the money and running after six months like some ebay scammer, but I do have fears that they will screw up and six months from now forget that I paid by paypal. And they only recently started offering the paypal option on their website, a little over a year I believe.

And probably someone is going to ask me why I am preordering with paypal. Basically its a sort of "control mechanism" I have for myself. Right now I have $250 bucks in my paypal account. I want to pay for my cap now, because after six months I might spend the $250 on something stupid, or even another HT item that I will regret buying.

I just dealt with this issue! If you pre order in full with paypal everything inlcuding shipping is charged up front. Totally understand what you mean. Sold $900 worth of toys a month back to preorder Cap, Mk43 and Thanos. Had no clue I couldn't pay in full. Was so happy when I found out Cap could. Paid for him in full the rest are on a two payment flex pay. Hope that helps!

I just used this method on Stealth Cap... I understand why SSC won't let you pre pay in full but it'd be quite useful when you have the money in hand and don't want to worry about saving it.

The USA has a mail order law that requires an item to be shipped within 30 days of final payment or full payment. If not the company is required to maintain a hard copy of confirmation that you wave that right. And you can request a full refund any time. If refund is not processed within a set time period it is a 10,000 dollar fine, at minimum. But, if only a partial payment is accepted they can not be fined. There's some additional wording and it's a bit more complicated (I can provide info and links if anyone really wants it) but essentially that law is why places don't accept full payment on preorders that much.
