1/6 Hot Toys - MMS281 - Avengers: AoU - Captain America Collectible Figure

As a new collector it sucks that I love the old Avengers toys because of the prices I have to pay for some of the core team. I've been fortunate that I was able to snag deals on some through some fellow freaks. I still have to get a Mark VII, Widow, Hawkeye, Hulk, and Fury. Ugghh

With how high the new prices are you can buy the originals or the AoU versions for the same cost

If they do make him. There was not a Fury stand shown in the 1/6 stands for AoU figures picture teased so he may not be made.

Ultron drones do not need a stand as they are generic like the chitauri soldiers but Fury there is only one so a stand would have been feasible.

I kind of regret not buying them myself. I"m not entirely sure I want to buy each one of these yet, but I do want Hulk and Hawkeye (based on the new suit in the trailers) for sure.

How did I miss that? I am still debating about whether I want this version of Cap or if I want the Winter Solder stealth costume one. Is there any difference?

In design yes, The Age of Ultron Captain America has more red and white in the costume(traditional colors), different shoulder straps, an Avengers logo, magnetic shield(instead of straps), new gloves and boots, it also has two headsculpts where as the STRIKE figure comes with only one, additionally the AOU cap may come with body improvements(to solve the problems found on the STRIKE version). Heres a side by side

I really hope hot toys made articulation improvements to this figure, but the suit looks very similar in construction to the stealth suit. Is wanting to pose a figure with its arms moved too much to ask for?

The red looks a little too bright also. Oh well still stoked for this.

Love that poster. Wish I could figure out the moment when Cap became my favorite Avenger.
