The full picture of ultimate ultron may be for a game, but the other age of ultron designs used for the game (hulkbuster, mark 43, and Cap) all look exactly like they do in the movie... What are the chances the picture and description of ultron is the only one not movie accurate? Not likely if you ask me.

It's movie accurate.

I know that... But I seen a couple people saying that since its from a game it has no movie significance.
It's in the movie. We've seen it a couple of times now.

As much as Ultron Prime isn't his final form...

I actually like how it had the best fight scenes for Ultron. Really loved his fight with Iron Man Mk 43 and his brawl with Cap on the cargo truck. Not to mention it got the most screen time whenever Ultron was musing philosophically. Really glad I PO'd this bad boy.

So without spoilers, after seeing the film, do people like his form of Ultron more after seeing it? I'm sure this one has the most screen time.
Ultimate Ultron is good, but I definitely liked Ultron Prime more based on the scenes it appeared in.

Yeah this form is the most iconic form from the movie, it really is a pleasure to watch the character of it change in different lighting and expressions. I do prefer the look of the Ultimate more personally but I'm not looking for a figure to represent the movie just Ultron.

Saying that I'm definitely looking to get the Prime figure but will wait until release. I also want a red Sentry, the only one I don't want is the MK1 as although the scene was amazing and the dialogue sublime, I don't want a "scrap metal" figure on display. Overall I was really impressed with Ultron, all my worries and doubts just melted away during the course of the film. He wasn't as snarky as I was led to believe but definitely had some great banter.

The singing in the Quinjet was amazing.

Agreed! :exactly: :clap

I was surprised since people made it sound like he was jokey and lame. He felt more frustrated and psychotic, combined with a whole lot of dark humor in his speech and mannerisms. I think too many people assume that Ultron is meant to be the typical cold and calculating evil robot like in many sci-fi stuff, but he's actually more expressive and I thought the film did a really great job of adapting that.

100% agree. And Spader did an amazing job voicing him. The only thing making this figure not a top priority for me is the price everywhere and knowing I'm gonna have to pay the same or more for Ultimate. Could have got him for £255, but now I can only find him for £325.

I think people need to realize that Ultron in the comics has always been a very damaged, psychotic robot and that's mainly due to having the brainwaves of Hank Pym in him. I think that's one of the reasons as to why I love Ultron so much. He's so confused and ****ed up and doesn't want to realize it sometimes so he wants to destroy humanity but he himself feels emotions. He even throws tantrums and has one of the most interesting father/son relationships with Hank. He's honestly kind of like a very troubled teenager at times. I dunno if they do anything like that in the movie though. He's always been more than just an evil kill bot and that's what makes him so fascinating.

Hank just went all dad on Ultron's ass.

In terms of the film version, your post is still REALLY spot-on, only replace Hank with Tony and convert Tony's snark into dark humor. :lecture

Okay, I haven't seen the movie yet but that's completely fine to me.

At first I was pissed about Hank not being Ultron's creator in the MCU but I guess what really matters is that they still wrote Ultron just as he is in the comics. And that makes me happy. Along with a very specific Vision change...but from what I hear he's still the badass Vision we all know and love.

Just judging from the scene they showed on Jimmy Kimmel, seeing him being pissed off just by being compared to Tony? I don't know the context of what he was exactly being compared to but that made me smile cause that's just Ultron right there. He just doesn't want **** lol to do with his father. It's kind of like how Loki hates being compared to Thor but on a much much more messed up level. All Loki needed was a damn hug from Odin. Ultron is just...he's just a whole nother problem that can't be reasoned with. It's frightening if you really think about it.

Jesus Christ I cannot wait for this movie.

I do have one question though.

how is his voice throughout the film? Does it go from robot ish from the Mark I and just get less and less modulated as he upgrades himself? Does Prime or Ultimate sound modulated at all?

Can't be too sure but I thought it was the same all throughout from start to finish.

the figure is certainly not doing the character justice, especially the eyes area. he was pretty brilliant in the movie, would get him if i had spare money laying around.
i notice in the movie, his chest doesn't light up as much(or even any)
