But it's an "A" with a tech-based design that lights up like Ultron, what's not to like?! :rotfl

(don't worry about it though, I know I'm in the minority when it comes to liking the stand haha :lol)

I'm there with you. I think the stand is very cool.

It's not only that, your restricted with poses to where his feet can sit

Why? I've seen him displayed so far about two dozen different ways from secret base to toy hunters and four or five toy shows. If iron man can have a sloped fake grass and rock base a little raised A design shouldn't effect the display options much.

It's the whole idea I have to incorporate the shape of the base into the poses idea that I don't like. I like the flexibility of posing figures any which way.

I hate all the uneven bases I have, all the diecast iron men, Mark 1 2.0, Classic Predator. Once in a while I like having them standing in a straight up pose to show it off.

The diecast iron men all have to be posed off center or with the legs super wide or close together and just look unnatural.

I loved the fact with the mark 4-6 they had the regular black stands. That gave a better variety for the look you want

Fair enough! Incidentally, I actually liked the base for the Classic Predator, so I guess that's where we differ in opinion since I didn't mind the base being uneven.

Still, I agree that it would have been ideal if they included both types of stands with Ultron Prime, just to give us more display options. :)

Oh yeah don't get me wrong I'm now way 100% correct, it's just my opinion :lol some othe members feel the same others don't.

Classic predator base is cool but it distracts from the figure to much and I didn't like the fact I had to "work" with the base.

And yeah no doubt the AoU stand that Capt, Hawkeye and Widow have packed with the A base would've been ideal :hi5:

I get your point.

But I don't think this A is like the others you mentioned. I've seen this figure posed with his feet on the raised part and it doesn't alter anything.

Edit-this was my point. I think it can be used the same as the standard ones.

That sucks. Maybe they will get more? I'd consider looking elsewhere. This looks to be a fantastic figure

They won't get more, part of their new reduced price and faster shipping policy. I'm checking out other retailers in the UK now but the prices are a lot higher, my own fault for leaving it so long.

Agreed, give the entire line the same base to make the display uniform. Also, this base looks like it has that excess 1-2 inches of uselessness on the bottom that I'll be chopping off prior to displaying.

True, but I think it does not mean it has to be that way. I hope. Lol

The thing I look at in the stance that matters to me is that his foot can be on the raised and stil be on the standard black part and he is not falling over.

Ultron looks humungous in that last pic! I think that might be a little too tall for my big display case. Why does have to ssooooooo friggin tall?

Never using that base for this guy :ohbfrank:
Same here. Looks out of place. Should have just included the regular Age of Ultron stand that they're including with all the other figures from this line.

Maybe they will since they placed him on it here with it's own clear holding rod.
