I don't think that's the HT sculpt. At least I hope it isn't.
I really want to like this figure and I was ok with the original proto. Now the nose area looks too flat and I'm worried that this will only look good while lit up. If Hot Toys can figure out how to add an AC adapter to this I'll be all over it.
We don't know if that's what the figure will look like, since it could just be an early sample proto that HT is using for exhibitions (especially since the chest sculpt is very inaccurate). That said, a lot of folks here originally wanted a smooth nose area due to the nose being too thick in its detailing on the original proto. And yet, now when we see HT try for the smooth nose look, a lot of people are saying they prefer the original proto.

IMO, neither of them look right... But the one they used for the pre-order promo pics would be the one i'd rather have, if I had to choose.
To me it looks like the King Arts figure proto that was teased a while back. It even has the same shiny finish. Isnt the Hot Toys figure more of a gunmetal?
Too many unofficial pics swirling around that we don't even know what we're looking at anymore. Unless it's just me that's confused. That does happen on occasion.
I'll be getting this however it turns out, HT is a quality company and produce quality products. Rarely have they released a figure that is terrible.
I love the look of Prime in daylight, barely lit with the red glow. Such a badass design I've really grown to admire over the course of production and release of AoU.

If it wasn't on top of the HT stand, I would have sworn it wasn't from HT.
please note that the prototype has now been changed, the head sculpt with more solid panel lines.
and the shoulder pad are closer to the body. it's evolving!
