Great photos for comparison, Motux. While larger than the average human obviously, I didn't realize Thanos was that small compared to UP and Hulk.

All of these pics look great and have me pumped. I haven't had time to check Budget's video yet.

That size comparison took me by surprise too. I haven't been keeping up with the Thanos thread because I decided to pass, but I thought he was bigger than that

Thanos is atleast larger than the "human" characters

To be fair, both movie Ultron and Hulk are around the 8 ft. mark so Thanos being 6'7 in the comics means that his smaller height in the films is appropriate.

Only 6'7". :lol

That's what he scales out to roughly with this figure. He's the size he should be both based on comics, and more importantly, the films.

I intially thought thanos was larger, but that was just due to my own ignorance about the character. He's only two or three inches taller then Thor and Cap in most iterations. So him being in between hulk and and an average human male figure is pretty spot on. He's 1-2 inches taller then most figures, and then hulks about 1-2 inches taller then him.

As for the pic...it's kinda neat. Most folks won't have all three of the oversized figures. Just to much space and money. There's like a grand in just those three figures. Lot of cash. I'll have fun doing those three and hulkbuster when he drops to. Makes for a neat photo.

I have not taken iron monger out the box in years. If I can find him, and he's not in storage, I'll see if I can get a pic. No promises

He's big. Really.

Dang thing may look good next to hulkbuster...

Ultron looks awesome here even without being lit. Most other pics I was disappointed without the lights. I'm thinking up close it won't look good, but a few feet away ( where I normally am when I'm in the man cave) it will look great and imposing next to my other toys.

He looks a lot better with the lights on, and that's just a design issue, but I think he looks alright even with them off. I'm not gonna leave them on all the time obviously, but if I'm showing him off or just reposing or whatever I'm flicking them on. But he's going to impress anyone either way.

Ah, well I don't think anyone is doubting his power. For me, I wasn't sure what his official height was supposed to be and he's never really been scene standing next to anything to give comparison, so I was merely under the impression he was a bit taller than 6'7". Not that 6'7" is short in the first place, of course.

Regarding the UP figure, he obviously looks better with the lights on and it's unfortunate they won't be on the majority of the time because the lights are what really give this figure life; however, he doesn't look bad at all either with the lights off, in the pictures I've seen.

yeah, his sheer size, and the amount of detail, especially when displayed with other 1/6 MCU figures should be impressive enough. turning the lights on brings the "wow" factor.

even though i've listed my complaints about this.. i'm still going to get it. i just can't see my collection without it. (that is unless an ultimate version is announced between now and then)

Thanos - Monger - Ultron and Ultimate Ultron would be an intimidating villain shelf :rock

After UP, my Marvel villain shelf would be: Red Skull, TDW Loki, TWS Winter Soldier and Ultron.

Thanos, Monger and Ultimate Ultron would look pretty darn intimidating though.

I have been thinking picking up another curio so i can make a villian display (actually my girlfriend suggested it). It would be Red Skull, TWS Winter Solider, Whiplash MK2, Mandarin, A1 Loki with Chitauri, Ultron Mk1 and Ultron Prime. I like the new crossbones figure so he could join them.
