Got her today and its a nice figure, but it was not like "wooow" in hand. But somehow she grows on me the longer I look at ther.

Hairstyle right out of the box was bit underwhelming...you have to fuzz and style it properly but i think it won't be possible to really get the movie hairstyle without real hairdresser skills.

I look forward to watching this review later on. Really disappointing about the hair too. I'll probably end up getting this one anyway. But it's a shame that Hot Toys didn't do more with the facial sculpt. They had to know that many were mixed on the Winter Soldier version.

xeno- thanks for the video review! I thought I'd be buying an Avengers Black Widow figure- I just didn't have the right movie. I've long preferred the Avengers head, but now I'm considering getting the first Avengers version over the newer versions, even if they might technically be better figures.

I think you just have to futz with it, get a small comb or something, I'm not sure if adding water is recommended with this one but apparently it helped some when messing with TWS Widow's hair

@ £147 shipped, I couldn't really pass on her at the time.
- I have to say If I had waited, I can honestly say that this would have been a pass.

There's a lot of 'it's not that bad', but lets not beat around the bush, this IS a terrible release, most people are focusing on the weapons and suit and avoiding the elephant in the room sculpt

Of course I will reserve final judement until she is in hand, but for me it's just uber disappointing especially given the amount of time the character has been on the Big Screen.

This is the perfect example:

I actually could have lived with the hair, if they would have adjusted and corrected the dead scare carried over from the WS sculpt.
- Yes the promo is shopped, but it gives a perfect comparison to that cheeky ScarJo we know and love and Hot Toys 'interpretation'. There is some ScarJo in there, not much but she's there in certain poses and lighting, but there is no excuse for how badly Hot Toys have rendered this one.

This could and should have been the go-to ScarJo 1/6, in-stead i see her being used mainly for parts and customs.
