:lol Cmon Hawkeye had a tiny role in Thor and he was added post production too, not to mention they only made two figures from Thor but are still making IM2 ones.

Yeah, I know... but their purposes in the movie were the same... Introduce them to the audience in preperation for The Avengers. Scarlett just got a lot more screen time and a couple of kick-ass scenes in IM. She wasn't needed any more in her debut than he was in his... Maybe they should have given Clint some sort of moment in Thor so we actually had someone to root for when the ensemble movie came.. But then again he was pretty much the "6th Avenger" in the actual Avengers movie too. Poor guy.

You guys forget that HT is a ravenous money hungry shark with no shame, it needs money to breathe. :lecture Theres no other figure left to make, so now they're gonna go back and circle the carcass for a 12th time and find the last morsel for them to chew on. Then we'll finally get our Dr. Selvig figure :monkey3

All businesses "need money to breathe".

They exist to make money. That is their purpose. The people running them are not showing up day after day solely because they hate their families/pets/video games and are dying to get out of the house for 8+ hours a day.

Screen time has notoriously meant NOTHING in terms of Hot Toys producing a figure, which has frustrated their fans across every franchise imaginable.

Avengers did set the exception though, AOU may be next if they follow through with QS.

This.:lecture

Been on my mind for awhile, I don't believe there will be a QS figure from Hot Toys, nor a Ultimate Ultron (which I'm more gutted about).

Ulrimate ultron would be simpler to make now as they can reuse the prime mold and touch it up. I am sure that will come down the road. QS will depend on actor license etc. It is their only chance for a figure of him so i am quite sure they would release him.

I hope they make one, but I do find it strange that nothing has been confirmed especially QS. I would have expected him to have been announced around the same time as SW.

This looks great. Definitely will be trying the small amount of water and comb trick. The frizzy hair right out of the box look almost kills an excellent figure. So glad the articulation is a step up from The Winter Soldier version.

What type of comb would you use?

Apologies if silly question, but My A1 BW was ok out of the box, so I've just left her as is. Selina Kyle, same no need to 'faff'.
- It's safe to say that this will need as noted some work to get rid of the fiz.

Funny how recent posts are discussing how Maria Hill won't be made, but now she was just shown and has her own thread!

I think unless Clipperking or someone else around here shows how to easily fix her hair, I might pass on this Black Widow. I thought I would get her too. Perhaps in statue form if some company tries. But I see myself getting the best versions of the Avengers now. Not so much all the versions from a particular movie. And right now I think the Avengers 1 Black Widow is still the best one.

Wise words. People are too critical. Maintaining a level of craftmanship and quality, and obtaining licenses, costs more and more everyday. Like just about everything else.

debating on paying extra to get this now (from overseas + expedited shipping charges) or waiting & saving...decisions decisions :p

I'm content with my WS version so I doubt I'll ever get this now, or see this version in person. I would of liked having a go at trying to fix the hair on the AOU one after having spent a fair amount of time futzing with the WS one I have, and getting it to look better (imo). Unfortunately it's a different style so I don't know how helpful my tutorial for that would be were this version is concerned, but if it's anything like the WS version, when you fix the hair it really brings out the good of the figure.
