So after waiting longer than I should have with SSC live chat here is what was said

me: I heard there were issues with pre ordering the new AoU Hawkeye figure. It would accidentally charge the credit card on file when it was pre ordered. Is this issue fixed?

So the charging issue is fixed and those that were charged apparently got refunded.

I agree, Renner is a very good actor/action star, as I stated on my first post regarding the matter. I also think he's underrated and am happy that he's on a roll now since Hurt Locker, and knowing him from that movie made me look forward to him being Hawkeye when it was first announced.

I guess my problem isn't really with how Renner carries himself, but it happened that in 2 of 3 movies with him in it he looks the same. I just saw "Kill the Messenger" and it was an instant fave of mine among the films he starred in. Not only was he brilliant in it, but he looked different, to put on film the looks of the real person he portrayed.

Anyway apologies for derailing the thread -- back to the figure, the idea of getting this is now warming up to me. I'm not a completist and just a casual Hawkeye fan, but I think this figure's final product would look very good.

I was about to do the same but now I can't decide if I really want him or if I just want him in case he's rare. I'm worried I will want him later but wont be able to fimd him. Decisions...

Perhaps. Even if he is common, what are the chances of his price dropping? The indie retailers will only have so many and after they're gone we're left with the prices of FP. Over £200 seems harsh when I only got Thor for £150 from FP.co.uk last year.

Well the first one looked better with the shades on. It hides the eyes and brow, which don't look good

I've preordered mine, £175.00 after my discount so I'm happy with that (well happy enough)..., definitely going to be using the shades as I think it best.

I got mine for similar (£173 - had some reward points thought I may as well use them ) - I'm quite pleased as that's not too bad a price for a UK seller.

They will make a ton- it will be easily avauilable upon release- look at the last dozen HT releases and ALL can be bought still at retail or below...

Just pre-ordered him locally! I'm still really hesitant on Black Widow due to the hair, but this looks like an awesome Hawkeye, and figure another likely won't pop up until Infinity Wars, so may as well jump on him now (since there'll be more I'll want then!)

This was the main selling shot for me as I mentioned yesterday, and last night I decided it was time to pull the trigger:



So that's Iron Man and Hawkeye coming in from Age of Ultron! The main one left that's wait and see is Scarlet Witch! Then we'll see how Vision plays out in the film, as I have no connection to that character at all. I'll just have to be cautious, because we ALL know how it is right after we see a movie like this! "OMG, they're ALL AMAZING!"

Then I'll be getting Cap from Civil War, and I'm still deciding on when to jump on Hulk...not sure I can swing at this one at the moment with how many things are lining up this year!

I am thinking we may see Hawkeye in the Cap America 3 line from HT since he seems to be a pretty important character.

Maybe they will just make Tony, Cap, Winter Soldier, Black Panther and Spidey though.
