Funny, they seem so specific to capture every Luke look, yet they missed several significant looks ...

No Luke Poncho
No Luke Tatooine with Stormtrooper belt
No Luke Bacta Tank
No Luke Dagobah
No Luke Battle-Damaged Bespin with no hand (or medical apparatus)
No Luke medical dress
No Luke Endor

They must have been in a hurry to get to comic book and expanded universe versions - I mean why waste time with what was in the movies :slap

Sideshow was good enough to bring my final flex forward and this should ship today or Monday (sideshow time).

Australia did not send a warship through disputed waters of the South China Sea. Australia is now getting its Hot Toys earlier than the US. Coincidence?

So... what your saying is.... Hot Toys shipment is a top concern for the international policy of China?

Yes indeed. The weight of evidence suggests that Hot Toys delivery delays are blowback for US military adventurism and brinkmanship.

Mine was charged last night US$187 comes to AUD $258. Thankfully I was able to use some reward points on this, but that $30 shipping cost just really eats into the savings.

Well I've got $75 rewards points left with Sideshow and I'll use that for one more figure, but I won't be buying anything at full price, the exchange rate is just too much.

Sorry if I am repeating something that was said allready, as I haven't read through all 200 pages of this thread, but I was trying to figure out what was it exactly that was bugging me so much about this sculpt and I think apart from the questionable likeness, the main issue is the expression.

This figure has this strange look of furrowed brows and an intense and yet dead-eyed stare that Hamill never had at no point in the trilogy. Seriously, think about how Mark Hamill presented himself in those movies - he was always this bright, doe-eyed kid, looking at the galaxy with an agape amazement. This sculpt on the other hand has a much more intense look to the face, that not only makes him seem more robotic but also considerably older than the bright teenager Luke who in some scenes looked almost like a girl.

I mean look at it. The figure doesn't look like an adventure-hungry teenager staring melancholicaly at a binary sunset. It looks like a serial killer about to draw a blaster from behind his belt, and blast some mofo out of his shoes:

I am going to murder you in your sleep:

What's even worse is that it's especially bad in this particular version of Luke. Becouse the classic, Tatooine Luke was when Hamill was at his most let's say - "innocent". A bright teenager just about to take his first step on a grand adventure. The headsculpt on the other hand looks like some creepy dude who wants to drill a hole in me with his stare and the juxtaposition of that with the classic Tattooine desert robes outfit is really jarring. I just look at this figure and it doesn't evoke the image that I came to associate with ANH Luke.

How many people/aliens did he kill when he blew up the Death Star? He basically committed genocide...HS gets no complaint from me.

Yeah, Luke is a cold blooded man killer from way back. Don't let the leggings fool you. What do you think he used that long rifle for? Hauling power converters? He a straight gangstah, son. Cammie and Tank and all those kids who called him "wormie" on Tatts are in shallow graves outside Tashi Station...

Does beg a great question. Did Luke kill more people than his father? His dad was known as one of the biggest murdering bastards in the galaxy and after the Death Star purge, Luke had to be known as a genocidal maniac on Coruscant.

Probably had a wanted poster. :lol
