I'm an omnivore as well. I've never been able to limit myself to one 'franchise'.

Star Wars seems to be the bulk of it, but there are a lot of companies making all kinds of appealing figures right now - Redman, VTS, Craftone, Kaustic Plastik...

For me it Star Wars, Marvel, DC, Harry Potter (Star Ace literally stacked all the releases for Jan-Feb as well....) and a few misc 1/6th pieces.

Good time to be a collector, bad time for the bank account.

I pre-cancelled all but the TIE Pilot.

It was an easy decision because I can't un-see Disney's (unsubtle) subliminal Donald Duck promotion in the First Order helmets.

You need a Jawa to go with Kenobi. It's where he got his fashion sense.

I'd like to wait to see how those turn out but they're on my short list for sure.

I want to see them in production as well, because those robes look too much like HT Obi-Wan's chiffon inner robe.

Yeah I got the email again last night that SSC will be processing all Luke Exclusives on Friday 4th. So I don't know how long it will take to ship from that date. Mine will ship directly from HK to Aus, so hopefully by the end of next week he will arrive.

It was released at least 8 yrs ago. I think. And ya.. I paid full price for it too.
Farmboy Luke is my favourite of all Luke, so I felt the urge to get it at that time..
I remember being happy having it in my collection..

Now that I look at it, I don't think Sideshow put much effort into it..
(Sorry Sideshow staff~ if you are reading this.. but truthfully that's not you guys' best work...lol)

I paid £35, so I've made a profit, it never really got out of it's box much so shows what I thought of it. At least the sale is going towards Hot Toys version.

Its not worth selling my Sideshow version. I am going to display it with the HT training helmet on. Be nice to use some of the extras that come with the HT set.

Thanks for the info LH, it kind of looks like Luke Skywalker and Data (from Star Trek TNG) had a lovechild; like you said, not the greatest effort.

The sculpt is not nearly as bad as it seems. A repaint works wonders, but still...Nothing to touch the shining HT master work.
