I'm disappointed about the wrong handle too but I'm not going to cancel; the figure looks fantastic otherwise. My intention was to display this with my ANH Luke lightsaber hilt replica, so I am bummed not to get the proper 1/6 scaled down version. It's surprising for Hot Toys though to get that wrong though. Perhaps they are trying to save on molds because they can reuse this one for TFA and for ESB figures.

Anyway, I am wondering if there is anyway I can mod it or improve upon my old SS one to get an accurate hilt.

I've just looked at the Spacetroooer and he released in HK on Oct 13th, people who ordered direct from Sideshow, in the UK, have started to receive their figures. That's only 4 weeks from HK release to Sideshow shipping. Albeit this was the new procedure from Sideshow, in that any HT figures ordered from them from the UK and Europe will ship direct from HK instead of making the journey from HK to the USA and then to Europe.
