Yeah, I'm getting this. Passed on some of the TM batman capes but this figure requires an accurate dress with the right material and drape. I don't like the HT dress or belt, it doesn't match the quality of the great sculpt and paint apps.

The color and fabric were precise and he always sources his materials not just by looks and weave but by weight which is critical to how they drape.

I imagine Tony's dress for Leia will be perfection.

I was thinking the same. I know he pretty much always works with spandex and other superhero type materials.

I found what I thought was the perfect material for Leia's dress a few years back. Triad's Ghost figure came with, what was essentially a really long scarf, you draped it around the figure's head, so it acted like a cowl/mask sort of thing, anyways, it was a stretchy type of material, that had weight so it would drape, but it was very thin. Of course, it would've been impossible to make a dress out of because it was only about 1 inch wide by 12 inches long.

I took that piece to all the fabric stores in town trying to find a match. They kept on showing me jersey knit, t-shirt type materials, I was like "No, no, no". It was just like "come on, you're fabric people, you should know this isn't a match". Anyways, Tony probably knows all the right places, but that thin, stretchy stuff should be right up his alley.

Is Tony Meis the same as iforigno? I seem to remember seeing people with Vader capes that forigno made.

I have a Forigno cape for my DX12 TDKR Batman. Very nice cape. I don't have any TM made capes though. I hear he's really good.

Both make awesome capes but Tony also makes whole costumes too. Lance (lforigno) only offers his capes on ebay now I believe and don't see him around here much these days unfortunately.

I may pick this up if Tony offers the costume. He's that good.

It'll look really good, though!

Tony and Crystal do incredible work - I have their '66 Batman suit and cape for the HT.

Personally, I can't muster enough interest in this version of Leia to even stump the base cost of the figure.

If the dress is really only $100 I would be totally up for that and the idea of finally getting this figure. But what are the odds it's really going to be that price?

Whatever the cost and looking at the above its gonna have to be done that progress pic alone shows just how abysmal the hot toys dress is.

I don't even wanna look at my figure until I get my hands on that dress!!

Well.... here's a good reason to throw good money after bad. Looks great so far. Wouldn't mind a bit fuller for more wrinkles.

I'm sure Tony's dress is going to be really nice but not sure I want to dump another $100 + on an already overpriced figure.
