Finally get my Leia in a couple of weeks, this is slow to reach other parts of Asia.

Really don't care enough to replace the dress, I'm not that fussy.

Yeah, as Jazz says, the dress can be worked to look okay/decent. It kinda bugs me, but not enough to spend $$$ to fix it.

I think the HT Luke poncho bugged me more - so I swapped it with a modded Hasbro one and I like it. Problem solved, cost = $0

Leia looks right at home between the boys and their walking carpet.

Thanks. I reworked and repainted the hot toys sculpt but it's not for sale sorry

Leia's dress looks good there. I don't really see a problem with the drapery or the fit.

Thanks but that took a lot of work. I removed wires from hood. Put them in the bottom hems of the dress. Removed underskirt. Cut all the inside seams as close as I dared. Lots of water treatment and futzing. Then double sided tape. Added beauty marks and other minor details to face.

Those are fully customized versions of the Tamashii C3PO and the sideshow R2

I cannot justify a dress that's twice the price of the figure, especially after I worked on the Hot Toys dress. It's not THAT complicated

Jazz, what did you do to the Leia dress if you don't mind saying. I'm assuming your not open to commissions.

Looks like he pressed or ironed some folds. It's about all you can do with it.

He did a nice futz job with what HT gave us ... but that's not the dress Leia wore in the movie.

@Jazz - Taking the goofy underskirt out makes a big difference. How did you tighten those pleats?
