Meh I wish they stop making him look so bulky

How sad, I was going to get this figure before...but now that I've seen that tv spot and all the fire power Rhodes ACTUALLY has in the film...this figure just seems slim to me. Ive now been spoiled on what he should really look like. Going to pass if he doesn't have all that gear. What were they thinking :(.

I really like this armor and i'd like to own it, but only if it's screen accurate. Looks to me like HT committed to the design before Marvel was finished tweaking it, but who knows. Such a shame because this armor has almost everything that people asked for out of the new armor, but HT dropped the ball by jumping the gun. hopefully they can find a way to make it accurate concerning color (or lights and armor) and weapons before release.

I was thinking similarly, its likely not Hot Toys fault (maybe it is, we will likely never know) as they may not have been given concept art showing everything that WM can do.

That's why I'm sticking to the new IM2 WM just saving some points to get the price down. That will be my definitive WM.

I have been leaning massively towards the original myself, still waiting to see the film first but though he looks great there are just more options from what we have seen so far from the IM2 version.

Some of those features could be there but not revealed due to marvel policy on spoilers (not saying to count on or expect it, just that it's possible)

And people expect these things accurate and early. Can't always have both. Look at all the complaining about how long out the 46mms scheduled. If they had not even started till the film was locked on these it would be much longer for most of these figures.

These figures are almost always darn near as screen accurate (outside of individual taste/opinion on things like faces and shades and neck thickness ect)..it's pretty rare a figure completly misses large items integral to a costume/suit. I'd wait and see what they say or show in the next two weeks (normally I'd say wait till the final product but most people can't wait that long lol)

That's what I don't get, even if Marvel's artwork sent to HT didn't show the exposed weapons on the Mk3, it should be a no-brainer that those shoulder pods can open. The forearm guns actually popping out and extending is a surprise. In any case, I wouldn't be surprised if HT goes back to the prototype and makes those changes, assuming of course that presales aren't meeting expectations. If people are buying the proto as-is, I doubt they'd be incentivized to make any changes. The other thing I'm not sure about is whether the baton can attach as a 2nd shoulder cannon, maybe someone who's seen the film can confirm/deny that?

I'm aware that the final product could be closer to screen accurate, which I'm hoping for... but like you mentioned elsewhere, it says in the description of the figure that the lights are white. I don't care if I have to wait until late into 2017,I'd rather it be accurate than have it sooner.

Initially I wasn't interested, I have the original and I'm happy but ohh, this looks awesome! I think I need it.

It's possible this prototype has those features if it was included in the design early enough and marvel told hot toys not to reveal that portion of the figure so it wasn't/isn't a spoiler. Remember this figure was shown like 5 months ago.

As for the bat thing...it does stow away. He doesn't need to carry it all the time in hand. Now how or if (magnets!) it attatches to the figure has not yet been revealed.

This figure is one that screams for a BD variant as well.
