Like a-dev, I'm shocked they're doing this. Box office flop, I seriously doubt their Arnold from this film sold well. And only a smattering of collectors are going to consider something like this, surely. Maybe if the movie was a massive, breakout success more would be interested to buy. But like others here, T1 or T2 or GTFO Hot Toys.

Thats true people could be thinking like that but they could also be thinking that this is a 1/6th endo and is about as close to the original endo seen in t1 and t2 as we are going to get from hot toys. I must say the design (apart from that big ridiculous oversized gun) is looking pretty sweet and i don't really mind if the film was a flop or not as long as the endo looks someway good which it does. I wasn't originally thinking about picking it up but those promo shots have changed my mind.

Maybe too much work and money went into developing this figure before the movie flopped that it would be a waste for HT not to release it. Let's hope this means that There's still hope for Ripley.

They should have scrapped this and went with the classic. They're too late. They never do any special anniversaries so I doubt they even care about T2's 25th or the 3D rerelease. Shame.

And there's that. If it were Iron Man or a Star Wars trooper they wouldn't hesitate to put out two similar products close together but for anything else forget it. This release postpones a T1/T2 Endo indefinitely, maybe rules it out altogether.

Yeah I much prefer an accurate T2 endo. Oh well.

It's a shame, because as others have said, this almost guarantees we wont be getting a T1/T2 endoskeleton.

I don't even get why they felt the need to make an all new Endo for the movie. He's a ****ing T-800 from the original Future and 1984 timelines. Why not just use the original Cameron/Winston models.

Old gripe though, the movie is old news. I'm really surprised they even produced this thing.

So they sat on the prototype for months and then announce the preorder a few weeks after the rest of the trilogy is officially cancelled. Interesting strategy.

Well, I'm getting all the Genisys from Chronicle, so I have no excuse not to get this as well. I am surprised it's actually happening.

I suppose at least it gives hope for the Ripleys and Shaws and whatever else that doesn't have any "hype." If they can release a Genisys Endo when even forgiving fans like me and a-dev are "meh" about the franchise then they can release anything at any time.
