1/6 Hot Toys - MMS378D17 - The Avengers: Iron Man Mark VI Collectible Figure

I recently got sucked into HT collecting and quickly realized that Iron Man could be my downfall unless I limited myself. After a lot of deliberation I picked this one as my "one and only Iron Man" (wish me luck). I like the traditional color scheme, the amount of accessories, the nice base, and the fact that it plays a big role in the movies. The 46 was another candidate, but in the end it seemed a little too organic/modern for my taste--I prefer this more classic look. I hope I made the right decision! Now the wait begins...

I said the same thing a couple months ago. Now I have three Iron Man figures on preorder and will have two War Machines in hand within the next few weeks.

For me, I started out saying I only need 1 Iron Man...and I got the Mark VI from Iron Man 2. Then I got sucked in...Mark VII from the Avengers, Silver Centurion from IM3, Mark XLV from AoU and now I am telling myself this DC Mark VI will be my last...unless they have something truly cool and original in IW...

Yeah, I'm with you on that.

Can't go wrong with any of them.

45 is my favorite right now, but who knows how I'll feel when the 46 or 6 arrives.. and I imagine a diecast 7 will be revealed at some point.

Yup. Diecast VII is bound to happen. And when it does I hope they also chock it full of accessories since the original had a healthy amount.

I remember Motux saying a while back that the Mk 6 was a favorite of the designers overseas or something like that. So hopefully they really show the figure some love and make an awesome piece. Hopefully we're all pleasantly surprised with its range of motion and the poses we can achieve

Yea but it's sold out so I was going to offer it up to one of the boardies. Set up a time where I'll cancel mine. Then it'll be back in stock so someone can nab it.

I can't speak to the V, but the VI isn't sold out on Sidedhow. Which is where I'm going to place my order. It is however sold out on BBTS where I have one ordered. I'm offering to set up a time that I cancel that, so a boardie who prefers to go through BBTS can get one. Sorry if that wasn't clear in my initial most

Tell me about it. When this went up for PO I literally pulled into the closest gas station to order. Didn't want to risk missing it on the drive home. With the benefit of 10 months of hindsight, I may have overreacted, but I don't regret it
