I forgot that my $50 code expired last night [emoji35][emoji35][emoji35]. I was away on vacation and didn't know the code . I tried it today and it said oops your code expired . I'm so pissed off [emoji35][emoji35]. I'm gonna call them Monday and ask if I could use it . [emoji29]

Yeah I also hope we can see more of this figure soon. I'm still on the fence about it. I am going to wait maybe until it is released to purchase after seeing the final product photos.

The light up gantry base is what sold me on this bad boy. I'm a sucker for unique bases.

On that note i am a little worried about the base, it doesn't seem to have a waist grabber or anything.

It looks like there is a hole in the base for some sort of mount of you zoom in.

Just noticed in these pics the Shoulder armor isnt attached to the shoulder disk like all previous iron men, theyre finally upgrading his shoulder!! my excitement just shot through the roof

it appears that the shoulder armor may be on the ball peg like Warmchine, however it may be connected to the torso vs the top of the shoulder joint

They should include a semi-clean facemask with a dent to the right temple from when he fights Thor to give them another look from The Avengers. Seems they went with the earlier "Reindeer games" look and his beat to crap version after falling out of the propeller well from fixing the hover carrier.

Wish they would also add some BD thigh pieces like the original M6 from IM2 release does. HT always neglects the legs for BD a big pet peeve for me that they always miss.

I'm almost positive that they went for the Iron Man 2 battle damage. Probably a way to appease fans who wanted an IM2 vs Avengers Mk6.

Sorry for the huge picture...

Agreed the bullet holes to the left for sure are IM2 plate, that pic also accentuates the need for the BD parts as well to achieve the look. Thor blew a giant hole in the chest to the left side and streaked up the right with the hammer which could also be an additional piece to add in.

Absolutely. I mean, even looking back as recently as the Mk46, all we received in terms of extra battle damage was the chest armor. I'm not complaining, as it wasn't even in the initial promotional pictures or listed as an accessory, I'm simply stating that Hot Toys isn't too concerned about giving us essentially 2 figures for the price of one (albeit and incredibly high price for a toy). Perhaps we'll eventually get a DX Iron Man that's fully loaded. If/when it happens, hopefully it'll be one of the more iconic Marks. Until then, I'm more than content with this diecast Mk6. This is my grail, the figure I've been wanting before it even existed.

Will say though, I would love a "post helicarrier" battle damaged Mk6. I would jump on that in a heartbeat.

That would be great as I've been wanting to see some photos of it on display and un-altered. I know there's absolutely no shortage of Iron Man figures but I'd also like to see a diecast Mark 7 on display as well.

Yeah, big time. I bought this to go with WM DC MK1 (abbreviation city!!) and DC Whiplash -- so I've been pretty pumped on that. I also like that it makes it the only crossover movie HT Iron Man release yet. Just think of the savings! :rotfl
