I am sad this is delayed we got the 47 way ahead of schedule and a lot of other stuff just appeared and from what I know the MK 6 has been on the cards for a while . So wonder the reason for the delay . I was really looking for word to seeing how this came out in real life .

Wonder if the presale numbers were down on the mark 6 so they are pushing back manufacturing until the go up.

Best way to increase sales is to release it. I'm fine waiting i have a lot coming over the next couple months.

But, if it leads to a better overall product then obviously I'm okay with it in the long run.

There are several figures out early, doubt the 47 had anything to do with it.

My guess would be that the 47 really had no impact on any figure being delayed. 47 is just a repainted 46, so Hot Toys should have most of the tooling/dies necessary for it. They probably just had a lead time for some of the dies for the accessories, while the VI pretty much needs new of everything.

Got to admit with all the early arrivals suddenly due I'm quietly relieved that this one's been pushed back again, even though actually I'm 90% paid up on this guy... It'll lessen the accusatory glares when its 'only' three figures rather than four. (Anxiously awaiting Starlord, Groot and the XLVII... It's a busy time arrivals wise!) Though I'm also being hopeful that it might mean there's some new Iron Man related engineering feat going on that's causing the hold-up, unlikely as that is.

This is what I've been telling myself. It's my favorite mark n everything but with the holidays coming up, it'll be nice to have the extra money. They're probably perfecting it anyway, right? So the wait will be worth it. No worries HT, take your time, I'll be patiently waiting. Yup, totally okay with it...

I'm cool with the delay. Mostly because I have Hulkbuster coming in the next few months, and paying for the Mark 6 on top of the most expensive toy I will have ever purchased in such a short time would have hit my bank account hard, especially in the middle of the already-expensive Christmas season too.
