I had the same thought (no hammer drones) so instead decided to go the whiplash route. Very glad I did as both whiplash v2 and WM mk1 are two of the best Iron Man figures I have owned! Gonna be great to have all 3 together finally. I even snagged the diorama base from the original mark VI to make them all match.

I started sorting out how best to do this about a year ago but then realized I would always be a little miffed that it was missing the Hammer Drones. Excited to live vicariously through your next thread man! :rotfl

Yeah, not sure if I'll try to make some destroyed Drone parts, or just work around it. It will be a much smaller dio than my Avengers one. Like 18x15 footprint.

Or you could do the final rooftop scene. You have a Pepper, right? Rhodey sitting on a stack telling them to get a roof. Not as visually dynamic, but one that could have a lot of character through posing.

That could be interesting. I’m getting in to styrene modeling soon, so may try the drone(s). Thought about maybe doing a few parts, line a ripped off arm, head etc. plenty to think about :duff

Well i just got a notice that my final flex pay Payment was pushed back to December now.

Yeah, even if it came out in Hong Kong today it still wouldn't hit North America till December, probably.

Hopefully it comes out before the end of the year.

Has Hot Toys released any figures in both HK and USA/Sideshow at the same time? I hope Sideshow will get these quick..

Nope. There's always a lag ... there was a figure in recent memory that seemed to have a shorter turnaround than others though. I think CW Cap.

The fact that we haven't seen this at any cons is making me skeptical that we'll even see it in the US in December.

Fingers crossed though.

Yep, typically 1-1.5 months delay for seafreight and customs clearing / etc. at the Port

I think it was CW Captain America too -- I hope this Mark VI will follow the same pattern. But you're right about the lack of appearance at recent Conventions though...

:pray::pray::pray:

I'm wondering if it's getting delayed? There's absolutely no hype for the Mark VI yet.

Pretty sure Iron Man 2 Tony had a near simultaneous release in the US and HK. If there was lag it was only days.

Of all the diecast figures they have made, this one is the closest to a must have for me. I'm a huge fan of the first avengers film. I have the plastic version of this and it's probably in my top 10. A diecast would be hard to resist. The only thing better would be a comic version of silver centurion.
