After this release, I really want a Mk7 diecast with plenty of battle damaged parts, just like the Movie Promo Edition(Sadly I missed that)!

Is it me or the DC MKVI Arc reactor isn't as bright as the other Iron Man Arc reactors?

In Xenos review he compares them. To me the old reactor was slightly brighter. Honestly the triangle plate needed to be frosted a little so the light would have spread out a little more. It may make that plate a little annoying since it will light up circular despite the shape.

has no-one tried the wax paper, butcher paper mod yet? slip that in?

Not enough people have it in hand yet or simply dont care. Nice idea. I'll try it if I end up getting him.

Well I think that will look better than what it is now. Was the old Mark VI the same?

Ok so the new MK6 exposed chest is correct. The old one looked too much like the 2/3.

Yea, final battle damage to represent the end of the film would be great- that armor was only used in that battle so it would be cool to be able to display with all it's battle damaged glory.

With that said, besides being diecast- what improvements on the armor do you think they could (or should) make? I don't have any version of this, but I am so impressed with the improved proportions if the VI I wonder if there is room to improve the VII with that or any other aspect.

Hey, where do the batteries go in this figure? The video didn't really show (or maybe I missed it)? Does it have a compartment and switch for every light like before?

For the chest, it's on the back. The arms, it's on the bicep. I think.

So funny how different the two inner chest parts are on the Mark 6s.

I'm a huge fan of inner detail like that (flaps, inner mechanics, etc.) and while I think it looks substantial, I feel the sculpt could have been refined more. I mean, for example the 45 & 46's inner chest detail is sculpted and painted so good, and the quarter scale's also.

Hhhmm, on a side note I also notice the 1/6 M45's inner chest sculpt is different to the 1/4's.

I will take some pics tonight… was really frustrated with it last night, going to attempt to glue the three pieces back together…
not sure how that is going to go.

The other thing that is odd about this guy is no other damaged pieces, except the helmet and chest… would have
been nice for at least the shoulder pads and make a forearm like War Machine Mark 1.

I know it was solicited with what it came with, but pairing the damaged figures up would look better with a bit more
damage to the Mark VI, IMO.

The lack of more BD parts is what annoys me, because the original had a TON of them...Specially the left bicep damage...And plus, the Mark VI suit sustains quite a bit of damage in the Avengers, so it would be more accurate with more BD...

It would be nice. I love battle damage!!!
But whatever ...I'm pretty damn happy with what we have. A lot of nice paint applications and weathering with this figure.

Might be a dumb question but do you guys care about exclusives? I have two options. Full up front payment to sideshow for the exclusive version or six installments from timewalker for the regular edition.

I care about this one. It resembles how it looked when he was putting it on after Thor landed on the quinjet.

Once I get the DC Mk5/Mk4 in, my plan is to have the Mk6 use either of their headsculpts while holding the exclusive helmet at his side. Essentially this with everything upgraded:

I think it'll look great whenever I want to turn on the lights for fun.

The War Machine Mark 1 and Iron Man Mark III definately have the best exposed chest area detail.

Yeah Hot Toys could be making up some of the armours where the inside has not been seen.
